@KuroLibellula i search for the explanation (in details) which is in chinese, and i try to translate it: 残像(ひかり) > hikari also means "light", we have light therefore we'll have the afterimage. we couldnt see reflection in dark, therefore, the lyrics use "hikari" for "zanzou"(afterimage). it also means, the protagonist want the "touch" the reality, but it is only the "zanzou", so he feels the disappointment, and also desire to look for the reality in his mind.
