ABC News has obtained a letter, signed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority's executive manager of operations, which reveals five of nine safety complaints against the airline were substantiated.

Qantas superjumbo aborts take-off over steering fault.

A Qantas superjumbo A380 with 435 passengers on board veered off track along the runway at London's Heathrow Airport after a steering fault emerged during two aborted take-off attempts.

Pilots of the Qantas flagship twice rejected take-off attempts due to the steering problems with the plane.

The flight, QF10 from London to Singapore, was due to depart at 9:30pm local time on Saturday [8.30am AEDT on Sunday].

Emirates first class fit out is better, from experience. Qantas staff better though.

Question, what part of "All electronic devices must be turned off..." during the take off and landing were you exempt from?

Business class in better, less claustrophobic, nicer fit out, especially on the A380.

Great video surfsidetv my wife and I will be flying suite class on Singapore's A380, wanted to fly QANTAS, however the wife decided that Singapore looks a little better. However I believe they are changing aircraft back to B777 for Singapore Airlines from melbourne so not happy Jan (lol). You're right @bomi18, it's more private than business. There is a seat opposite within your cabin that is reasonably comfortable. It's more so you can eat together though. I'm quite happy to enjoy time to myself though on a long haul.

Emirates and Singapore definitely better than Qantas. Out of 10 I would give it a 7. Still pretty damn good and better than up the back. Would give it a better score if the wine was better, the amenities pack had more product and they didn't turn the heating up so high during sleep time. Flight attendants were very good, nothing too much trouble.
