  • i wanna learn how to do that

  • a true marine can do 3 things fight lead and show off with a gun

  • What people did not 'like' this performance? Oh, Obama loving progressive commie sobs!

  • @thomascapital hey asswipe, iI voted for Obama, and will help re-elect him.You don't ned to be a Repubtard to be the only people that recognize excellent Martial ability or precision drillwork. Oh, by the way, I am a Navy Veteran of The Vietnam Era. Got it????

Good, because I reqlly hope youo are tnat uninformed to think that all Dems are liberals beyond any ability to make informed decisions about how our country is run and governed.

  • damn impressive, im either doing this in a year of becoming a firefighter, im leaning towards this tho hahah

  • Their uniforms are soo nice and spic.

Its just a simple coat with some pretty buttons. The marines are just fucking smart.

  • fucking mega-mongs, both of you. Long live bobby mugabe, and may he banish you honky folks from africa. Trouble is i was born with white skin, so i've got to black up to avoid confusion. Some of the lads beat me senseless when they thought i was i wretched white farmer, still laugh about it now..

  • @jizzspraya Pure scum. STFU asswipe

  • Don't listen to the crap from these two mongs below they know fuck all about military display squads. i was a member of the elite 'Sealed Knot drill squad incorporating the 'civil war all arms line dancing team'. It was not my fault that when I twirled my musket it clobbered some cunt in the audience and guess what yeah you got it, the bell end is trying to claim some munney of me with them solicitors on the jezza kyle show adverts, Fuck, its not like i was steaming I only had a few lagers

  • @spackwit Oi....who are you calling mong? Mong.

  • @cumguzzlar Hey mong I'm calling you a mong coz you are a mong and i'm not a mong. Mong

  • @spackwit Further more if there are any more Jocyce Grenfell repeats I'll...

  • Yeah, that's right, that's me out front. This was at Gosport Pride last year, the main theme was hunks in uniform, we were on the lead float. The crowd went wild as we did our gun chucking. Check us out this year at the bradford exchange exquisite taste memorabilia fair, i'll be dressed up as a pride of derby town centre anus. We lost out in the main event to the Bobbi Mugabe Shrimping squad, they cheated, they came tooled up with ciabbatta rather than the standard mutha's pride.

  • @cumguzzlar what the fuck is the point of this shit? i've never seen such utter balls in all my life. I bet the fucking Taliban are shitting themselves watching this eh? You say you were at Gosport pride, but I reckon you're lying. I was there, representing the Zimbabwean HFRU (Honky Farmer Relocation Unit) and I never saw you Marine A-Holes! Do us all a favor yeh? Spin one of those M1 rifles up your own arse for fuck sake.

  • @jizzspraya Oh yeah, i remember you, you goddam asshole. You were the fat kid always picked last for the HFRU display unit weren't you, feigning illness to worm out of it? Why don't you tell everyone where your sacred HFRU finished? Last again eh? Firstly you should be using rifles, not machete's and clubs, and you should be silent not all shouting "get him", Gosport pride is the premier uk event, you lot ruin it every year, why don't you fuck off to Appleyby pride?

  • Semper fi!!!

  • snap and pop out the ***

  • This is something really interesting to see- the discipline, commitment and precision. But if you think the enemy will surrender if he sees how good you are at spinning guns around and walking a parade march, you're wrong.

I was going to be transferred into a Guard unit, but I denied the "invitation", and told them that the real soldier isn't one who looks nice for TV, but the one that does good deeds for his country! I'm serving as a regular infantryman now, and Hell it feels good!

  • @PsiCommando

    USMC Infantry

Role: Destroy the enemy by fire and maneuver.

    Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere.

  • god bless them all

  • should i join ? i'd like to hear from a real marine .thanx ill be 18 this dec

  • @thenomskiee join.. I DEPed in last Dec best year of my life

  • very impressive, ive tried spinning in low light conditions, and its hard. you cant see the rifle, not enough light, even with a light like in this video (if you pay attention, you will see that the light is only shinning one side, and because they are sideways to it, it is only going into one eye). but then again, good spinners dont need to see the rifle, after so much practice, you just know where it will land

  • Marine corps builds leaders, all up and down the line. islamis build robots. An insecure, vapid, and meaningless world-view. The islamis wonder why they can't control the world.Since 1918, since 1492, give it a number.

  • Just to clarify: the first guy takes the bayonet off. all the rest is done with bayonets fixed.

  • Semper fi!

    Do or die!

    OORAH!

  • @astelats oorah

  • if you pay CLOSE attention the bayonet is not fixed during the rifle inspection it is undone just before the inspection and reclipped very swiftely afterwards. Great video though.

  • @river210

I am sorry, but you are incorrect. Those bayonets are still fixed. I've watched this video several times in succession and there is no indication that the bayonets were ever removed and/or reclipped.

  • nice video.awesome

  • Follow orders & worship authority! Semper Fi!!!!

  • hell ya!!! only the marine corps has the balls to throw a behind the back bread basket with a bayonet on the rifle

  • Fugg'n Marines Scare The Living Shit OUt Of Me!!! Or Exhibition Is Like A Fuck Up To Them :O I Give Major Props And Salute Ya'll

  • Excellent!

  • that is my son head rifle inspector cpl hill on the right go boy get some

  • ok im sorry but the marines do the same drill forever, most branches need the commands bc alot of them are thought up by the drill team. the silent drill has sorta its own beat n rhythm if uve ever done drill.

  • @djfreeagent5150 Can you do it?.....Don't think so....Don't think your that good.....I should know....."Once was, always will be".....

  • @hardmarine373 you tell him i've wittnessed the training first hand its tough so any who want stop talking and step up or shut up semper fi

  • @motodogg1 you got it....but all these guys are arguing about it...it is all about discipline....Which I will have to say the Corps is more disciplined than the Army...When I was in, I never gave a shit about any of the other branches...but now that I am older, I think differently. We should all work as a team to kick terrorism in the ass. But the Marine Corps is still best.....Semper Fi.

  • @hardmarine373 heres my thoughts i would stand side bye side with any branch of military to fight but when its time to kick ass we are first land last to leave oh the rifle inspector in this video is my son cpl hill semperfi

  • @motodogg1 I agree....Cool....I bet your one proud father....Semper Fi....

  • it s the m1 garand rifle.

  • what kinda gun are they using?

  • read the description box

  • Wow, in that light the only thing you can see is the gleam of the bayonet! And you don't grab for that lol. Extremely impressive!

  • 1:31-1:44 Marine Corps Masterspin

  • Okay, thanks a lot! Appreciate it.

  • This might be a stupid question but what's up with Marines and their gun twirling? I'm not saying it's stupid, it's actually really cool but I'm just wondering if there is a significance to it. I'm not American BTW.

  • it is the show of discipline, prescision, and cadence

  • I almost peed myself when the guy threw it.

  • I've never seen this done outside at night like this. Very impressive. But then again, they're always impressive.

  • Thats's very cool. But what is the point of doing this?

  • Honor, discipline, integrity. There's more to the military than just being able to fight.

  • @Reaper87xx well said

  • Well, all personal sentiementality aside ... with respect to each other and the very similiar mission the Army and the USMC perform ... The Army does not perform it as well as the USMC does. Does that mean that Marines do not respect the Army or shouldn't? No and no, but we certainly pity them. The Army is ruining itself and the awesome legacy they have earned with blood is being trampled by, "I'm ok, your ok," bullshit basic training. High tech toys do not a soldier make.

  • The Army has long since forgotten the meaning of DNC. It's sad to say, but I don't think I want to join the Army anymore. Not because of this video. Because they want new things instead of great soldiers. Yes, the Army's DEP has 95% specific job placement, but I want honor, pride, corps value, not just a job. I want to be elite. I want to be a Marine.

  • So you basically want to feel some false sense of justification that you are better then everybody else ?

99% of Marines are no where close to being dubbed "elite." The 1% that does qualify as elite are Force Recon and I highly doubt they want wanna be heroes such as yourself.

Have fun in your super man uniform if you make it through basic IF you even decide to enlist.

  • Sir I do not feel any sense of false justification. I do not use feelings to solve problems, I use my mind. I do not think I'm better than everyone else. I simply want to train with an elite branch of the military. Marine infantrymen are elite infantrymen. Force Recon operator are elite SF operators. I do not want to be a hero nor do I want to wear a super man uniform. Please stop making irrelevant statements.

  • is the same shit we rule delta and we do this for fun war

  • The marine silent drill is one of the most sexiest things i have ever seen, i am in a ROTC program, in which we do spin the rifles, and this is are inspiration, i know personally how hard it is to spin those rifles. and for them to do it with ease amazing me

  • Hey why don't you guys actually do some research before you criticize these men. I am on the drill team for the Douglas County Young Marines (National Unit of the Year 2008) and I attended the National Invitational Drill Meet at the Air Force Academy this year so I know how hard it is to do this. So shut up and try it yourself before you criticize the Silent Drill Platoon. And thank God for the United States Marine Corps, the GREATEST fighting force on the face of the earth. OORAH!

  • does it really matter if its used for or whos whaat in the army or whatever??

i say fair play to every single one of them men as i couldnt do what there doing with the guns...

  • my school's sevurity guard, wanted to be in the silent drill platoon, except he was denied because he wasn't the right height. sucks for him...

  • Stop talking BS.

U.S Marines. There is nothing greater.

And I respect every single U.S Marine. Marines working in a drill team, Marines in Iraq, etc.

    God bless them all!

  • who the fuck said this was for combat its a silent drill

  • I'm sure this comes in real handy during combat.

  • Spoken like a true dipshit cock sucker, Close order drill is the essence of quick response to orders, which is what keeps you alive in combat. Get a clue before you leave your worthless dipshit opinion.

  • Do an iota of research on who you are talking to before you decide to be a reactionary.

I'm an Iraq Vet, Army, Light Infantry, SAW Gunner.

No training like you fight is what keeps you alive in combat, not throwing your rifle to somebody else while you are all dressed up.

I understand the purpose and need for Honor Guard stuff, been there done that too, but that BS has little to nothing to do with combat.

Hey jarhead, your talking to a citizen and a veteran, I am "Sir" to you.

  • LoL, Thanks for your service army guy, NO your not sir to me, I am a Civilian now too. What I think is really funny is how your trying to school me on Warfare, a Marine, and you knew that before you even typed that trash. When Hell freezes over you might find a Marine taking advice on the importance of close order drill as a training tool for fast response to orders on the battlefield, from someone who is only a Solider, and not a Shock Troop. Knowing this is why we are so much better then you.

  • Good for you but I don't give a shit.

  • Thank you smitty72, at least we marines know the reason behind close order drill.

  • NP, and Semper Fi Brother.

  • You say your an Iraqi War Vet in the Army too, wow. Do you have any idea how stupid you made your self sound? Do you have any idea for the reason behind close or drill or rifle manual? And yes I was a "jarhead" and I will never call you sir you degenerate piece of shit. Maybe you should have joined the men's branch of the military.

  • Feel better now that you've vented on the internet ?

Tell you what, YOU stay busy by throwing antiques around while the real soldiers stay busy by training for combat.

Maybe you should think before you type .... sir.

  • seriously? all these people arguing about which branch is better?

get a life... im pretty sure anyone who served deserves to be called sir... not degenerate piece of shit... and my dad was killed in the Iraqi War and oh he was in the Army. so i'd appreciate if u took back that "men's branch of the military" comment... cuz if you're calling my father not a man, i will never respect the Marine Corps and that takes a lot, get off ur high horse and show respect where respect is due

    thank you

  • you are unbelievable, u have your head so far up your ass that lump in your throat is your goddamn nose

a shame to the marine corps for sure

feel free to have the last word u disgusting excuse for a soldier

any man would respect any other soldier, especially those that gave the ultimate sacrifice... take some time off from thinking about your worthless self and thing about that for one minute, thats all i ask

  • damn i think the Iraq war is stupid but you are just 100% dumbass

  • Hahahahahahahahah. If this is what the Army told you about close order drill then HOLY SANTA CLAUSE SHIT! My grandfather was an Army infantryman and he tells me that you've got no clue what your talking about. Close order drill is the key to combat communication aka do as your told and you'll stay alive.

  • Well I am your grand father didn't serve with my generation so maybe he should stick to talking about what he's done himself ? Same goes for you.

Close order drill is key to keeping your job as an honor guardsmen and not getting sent far away to doing actually infantry shit.

Training how you fight is what will keep you alive in actual combat not BS DNC.

  • *I am NOT your grand father and he DIDN'T serve with my ....

  • ? what? He did 2 tours in Vietnam and served for 30 years in the Army retired as a Sergent Major and has also done 2 years of honor guard in Germany with the 7th. I know he knows what he's talking about. Educate yourself on the DNC and close order drill. If you think you have time to tell jonny to do this and that while you've just walked into in an ambush, then good luck.

  • AGAIN ... training HOW YOU FIGHT is what will keep you alive in combat.

Doing DNC instead of training like real infantrymen does endow you with a miraculous ability to survive an ambush genius.

How about YOU do some time in the military and get some first hand knowledge for yourself ?

  • *DOESN'T

  • Stop being so hard headed. I'm telling you that Drill and ceremonies teaches discipline and quick action response for things like combat training. Once DNC is taught, you move on to combat tactics and techniques and you keep training until you get it right. From there you train until you get it wrong and fix it. Does this make any sense to you? I'm going to do DEP for either the Marines or Air force, so I'll be getting plenty of experience and knowledge of military very soon.

  • OK ... never mind my 8 years as a light infantrymen with the Army. Take my CIB, my BSM, and my PH too.

Why not tell me everything I should know since you obviously know what it takes to survive in a combat zone ?

Shouldn't you be doing your homework ?

  • All I'm saying is that it's DNC first, then combat tactics, techniques, and survival skills. I'm not questioning whether or not you've been in combat or just a combat zone. I do not care about your combat experience. I'm just letting you know what I know about DNC. That's it. You obviously don't go train just DNC to survive in a combat zone. I believe we all understood that from you.

  • obviously you're not a golfer.

  • Of coarse training teaches you how to fight. We're saying that DNC and Close order drill gives you the ability to receive one command and do multiple things without thinking that process through. You don't have time to think everything through in combat. I'm simply saying that this helps eliminate that problem.

  • Its not that hard to do what you're told. DNC is for REMFs.

Training like real infantrymen is what will keep you alive in a combat zone not DNC, not by a long shot.

  • Boring!!! sux!!!

  • That was A-fucking-mazing! God, I love the United States Marine Corps!

  • Its a shame they use deac. M1s...

  • This is what being a Marine is all about. Efficiency! (Love the M1's) This is one hell of a show. Thanks for sharing this with your fellow American civilians

    Semper Fi!

  • Comment removed

  • grow up asshole

  • I didn't think it would look so good in the dark but that is very impressive! It leaves an extra suspense to it compared to if you're watching it in the light of day.

  • Mother fucking MOTIVATION. Gooooood god that was AWESOME

  • dude the air force does deserve respect, in a lot of scenarios they're the ones ( and the NAVY 2) bailing out the army and marines when they get stuck in shitty places, also a question on the vid... that stuff looks dangerous and yes i know they're very well trained and all but lets face it... accidents can and DO happen so why do they wear the gloves when doing that? wouldn't that contribute to the chances of their M'1's flying away into someones eye socket??

  • The gloves are part of the uniform. I read somewhere they have a silicone layer to help their grip, which would significantly reduce the chances of a slip and make their moves seem less impossible. My drill team uses cloth gloves, nothing added, so we have accidents quite often. Never during an exhibition, though.

  • We do marching in two squads with M1 with bayonets spinning and one guy walking between us. we use glove the official cotton whites. but the main thing is the timing. otherwise, You can cut a guy up. Jump an M1 over 10 guys and have the last one catch it with one hand and return it 1 sec exactly later to the front. in NY city parades.

  • Gloves can significantly increase the grip. Assuming they have the rubberized palm. Leather gloves work but only for easy spinning I'd presume.

  • Respect.

  • lol and for people who are saying there are no jokes in the military about other branches you are sadly mistaken. lol. people resepct each other, but there are many jokes like lets say, betweent he army and navy. Soldiers are given the joke of being a bunch of idoits and the navy gay. they work together, but a little friendly competition and a couple of jokes do get passed around. lol. the military are people too and the fact alot of military is between the ages of 18-25 doewnt help either

  • just glad to see that there are a couple of ACTUAL service men on here that know their military

  • holy shit!!!

  • You're all a bunch of idiots. E

  • alrite then let me set this shit strait..

first off this is a gun inspection video.

and second, as the son of a 23year officer in the united states army, he and i will be quick to tell you that the marines are the first in and last out, while the army is the heaviest equiped, and of couse they use the airforce you moron, the CHAIR force, used to be a PART of the army, as for the seamen, the only true ones are the seals...

  • oorah. coming from a Devildog, you couldnt have said it better!

  • just like r3dcell, u could not have said it better. oorah to u too

  • apparently your father didn't educate you enough about the military... calling the AF "chair" force clearly displays your ignorance... and only giving seamen credit if they're a SEAL is bogus.. people who diss other branches are usually bitter that they made a poor choice in their service, or they're just morons.. it's not about the branch, it's what you do in the service.. your pops should know that..

  • Chair Force (really?) Sure our bases offer the best quality of life of any branch, and we tend to not be rolling in the mud but our job is still important.

  • I wouldn't consider people dissing other branches of the military ignorant. They just lack the diversification. The see the good in their branch and lack the insight or optimism to see other branches perks. It goes back and forth between the Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force. Just remember who's on who's side at the end of the day.

  • I agree... I used ignorance because I feel that lacking the insight of other branches also displays lack of intellegence. I feel that anyone in any branch should understand that we all work together one way or another... and that protecting our country is a "team" effort. I know that dissing each other will always take place, it just bothers me more because I've had fellow airman fall in combat, so it offends me a little more when we're disrespected is all.

  • Unlike the Army that relies on the Air Force/Navy/Marines for close air support not provided by helicopters. If you want airborne units to cause confusion behind the lines, then I'd say look to the Army seeing as they hold the Airborne units. Each branch holds their own speciality, Cunningham, just realize that Marines are taught that they are superior, because on the battlefield, not having confidence in one's skills can and will get them and others killed. Read the Warrior Elite by

  • Its obvious that Cunningham is not completely educated in his military history. Or at least he likes to take things to an exact literal sense. Am I a Marine? No, I'm the son of a Vietnam era Marine. I hold what all the armed services of this country dear, their sacrifice is our freedom, however being a Marine son I am a bit biased. Are the Marines the best? I'd say if you want to storm a beach and take something by essentially using shock troops then yes. They have their own air wing.

  • I know, but I'm cursing at the USMC who supports the Iraq war.

  • That first Marine messed up

  • thats really like cool but it makes u wanna go out there

  • then go to iraq and let them kill you for no reason....gah people like u make me sick just leave if you dont like it

  • you can believe what you want. you're entitled to that, but the Soldiers in the USMC have no choice where they are deployed, they do what they are told and they do it well.

  • Cunningham obviously needs to learnt that the USMC Drill Platoon only do this for 2 years... Who cares that they only do drill, it shows discipline and confidence in oneself. The Military doesn't just put all of it's forces in to one war fool... Anyways in another comment, i could jizz to this stuff!! I love Drill and doing it.

  • Take it from an Army PFC. . .The USA would not exist if it were not for The USMC.

  • yea.. but really at bootcamp...one of the first things they tell you is that america doesnot need the marines... any marine will tell you that....not to ay i dont love the marines with my life and somedick head will prolly give me a poor comment thingy because they dont know shit... but the marines are a force to be recond with

  • cunninngham, all i have to say is show some respect dude. i leave for marine basic training on july 28....and while i have respect and admire every branch, the marines are the best, they are the first in and the last out. they have a mixture of army ranger, and navy seal training in the crucible week. its not that we think we are better, we just have more training, and also, we are the only branch that can kill whenever we feel threatened, we dont have to call in and ask permission. OOH RAA

  • thats a marine for you..i leave in 3 weeks to quantico base..and sir you have what it takes..i silute u..

  • OOH RAA!..marines that are here give me a shout i leave in 3 weeks to quantico VA.

  • actually yes you do need permission... if the president says stop, you stop. there's no such thing as we got this far, lets continue. you do an about face, get your ass out and say yes sir

  • is handed over to the US Army to maintain security. Until it gets too hot for them to handle and the Corps is sent back in to retake the position. The Marine Corps is the US's oldest branch of military, founded November 10, 1775, making it older than the country, as the only formal military branch as the Continental Army and Navy were mostly considered volunteers. Earn yourself and Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. Applications not taken... Only commitments. USMC

  • Mr Cunninngham, I have to agree with TheUnknownAffiliate1, learn your history. The so called "eastern front" was the pacific war, which was fought primarily by the US Marines as well as the US Navy. However, you're correct in the fact that they had little involvement in the European Campaigns. If you're only 14, I'll give you something more recent for your thoughts. When a major battle takes place in Iraq, it typically involves Marines. After (and God willing) they've taken the location, it

  • the eastern front was hardly marines. it was pretty much all the soviet union vs germany. learn your history

  • its pretty pimp when the LCpl throws the rifle at the Sgt. then salutes. god i want to be a marine..but unfortunaly ime canadian :(

so thats why i am going canadian navy.

  • yeah i'm 14 and gonna be a senior next year. good deduction jarhead. anything else you'd like to say? btw i have respect. but i've lost respect for all these asshole marines always full of themselves talking about other branches like you

  • Best of luck to you Cunningham. Look thru my messages, I didnt say anything disrespectful about any branch of service.

  • and that's the bullshit attitude that i get tired of. they aren't the best. every branch has their specialties. no branch is singlehandedly the best

  • You still have not answered the question, what branch of service do you belong? Oh yeah, your step-dad, you must be a 14 year old kid with a bad attitude. Thats the real problem, if I was your dad I would beat your ass until you learn some respect.

  • army does that shit too. i would know. my step dad, even though a tank commander, was an expert marksman with smg, handgun, and rifle. was a captain. marines aren't so special. they're just another branch of the army. not even a branch. they are a part of the navy

  • Thats the difference, you dont have a clue. Talk to your step-dad. I doubt he has your negative opinion about the Marines. Difference is I am a Marine therefore I have the experience and Expert Markmanship badges to backup what Im saying. You have not mentioned what branch of service you are in but Im sure you have not fought in a combat zone, I have.. I have nothing but respect for the Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard but that does not mean they can do what we do. The Marines are the BEST.

  • Again, learn your history, the Marine Corps was founded before the Army. And they're not part of the Navy, they are, as the Army, Navy, Air Force, and even the Coast Guard, an independant branch of the US Armed Forces.

  • Just about everything else is correct that you said, except that actually the Marine Corps is a department of the Navy. Or as we like to say "The Mens Department". haha.

  • Well, you're both right. The marines are an independent branch of the military, seperate from the navy. But administrativley, the USMC is part of the Department of the Navy, but they act as a seperate branch operationally.

  • kinda sorta. we rely on the navy in many ways in our operations.. from transportation to Corpsman. We operate seperately in many ways, but work very closely in others. We would never consider ourselves Navy, but we definately respect our squidly counterparts =P

  • Exactly my point.

  • and you know there's marines just like that. don't even try to say it's only the army

  • Im not saying its just the army but I will tell you I never met a US Marine that couldnt kill your ass at 500 yards with a M16 and open sites. Unlike other branches of the Armed Forces, EVERY US Marine must qualify every year with the weapon. No like some that practice fire some in bootcamp and thats it. Marines MUST Qualify Every Year. Are you able to understand that Cunningham or do I need to spell it out for you some more??

  • And so, the will and creativity of the individual, is crushed by the will and conformity of the state

  • I would agree, except that the USMC is all-volunteer. They're not being forced to do this: they signed up. And God Bless them for doing so.

  • Thank you. You have no idea how much your support means to us.

  • The team is awesome regardless of negative opinions. Its more than rifle spinning, its being a United States Marine. Unless you have been thru USMC Bootcamp and have the title of a Marine, your comment really isnt worth much because you wouldnt have a clue.

  • I, personally, am just sick and tired of people bashing on the military, especially the Marines, being a Marine myself. If you can go through Marine Corps boot camp, Marine Combat Training, and MOS school, -then- you have a valid and educated opinion that I will actually listen to. But if you're just sitting behind your computer screen all day, ridiculing something that you couldn't even begin to understand, then you can shut your fat mouth and keep your childish jealousy to yourself.

  • Maybe so, but those high school rifle spinners aren't spinning guns that weigh ten pounds with actual bayonets attached to the tips.

  • none of them are spinning "guns" and yes they are ten pounds, ours are ten pounds. The bayonet thing is cute but it doesn't make their spinning any more difficult. I love the Devil Dogs Silent Drill but they're not Gods amongst insects as the public makes them out to be.

  • I love our country. I am extremely thankful for everyone that serves it.

  • All I can say is God Bless America and Thank God for Men (and Women) who are willing to serve. Great job and superb performance.

  • I happen to be an ex squid... don't hold that against me... ;) I watched both the Marine Corps, and the Navy drill teams, and I have to admit... I liked the Marine Corps team a helluva lot better... not that the Navy team sucked... but the Corps has had a shitload of more years of doing this...Semper Fi!!!

  • Outstanding Gentlemen!!! The new Marine commercial made me look this up here, pure skill.

  • Actually unless something changed in the last 15 years it is Oorah, HooAh is Army I believe. Wiki it. Semper Fi

  • I was in the Army and could drill with best of them, but nothing even remotely like this. This a very stylized formal, precise "Inspection Arms".Very well done. Thanks

  • ITS OORAH YOU IGNORANT FUCK.

THE ARMY SAYS HOOAH. like a bunch of sissies who think they are badass

  • yes the army are sissies yet they were responsible for winning world war 2. who do you think the paratroopers were? who do you think the commandos were? sure as hell not marines

  • WRONG!!!! If the Marines had never taken Iwo Jima and the Pacific, the war would've not been won. Let's go to Korea and 2 Marine Battalions did more than 2 Army Infantry Division. Modern day now, the Marines fixed Fallujah, the Army is still struggling in Baghdad.

  • WRONG AGAIN!!!! Out of the entire military, about 2% are Marines. Our training is longer, more intensive, and more difficult than any other branch. Out of the 84 recruits in my boot camp platoon, 63 of us graduated. Most of the ones that were dropped had broken bones and one had a collapsed lung. And we were a female platoon. Out of the male platoons, a quarter didn't make it.

I've seen Army soldiers that had no idea how to even aim a rifle without a scope. Pathetic. Sad and pathetic.

  • TheRealHBC, I understand your pride in being a marine. But the marines can't do it all alone. Every other branch has its validity to our nation. Yes you may be "the few" but they are all the proud. Watch your pedastal, it may be up too high.

  • hah.. haha.. not even worth arguing. bitch

  • Mr. Cunninngham,

It is obvious you have little knowledge of history. First off, the Army didn't win the war for the U.S., the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did. This made possible by the brave Marines who fought and died in the Battle for Iwo Jima setting up an airfield the Airmen could fly from and hit those targets.

Secondly, you have no right to criticize or comment on things you now nothing about. You can't talk the talk until you have walked the walk. Show a little respect for vets!

  • You do know that there was a war going on in the pacific? Or im sure you thought of that already.

  • You do realize that was a year ago right? Or I'm sure you thought of that already. You do know the pacific wasn't as bad as Germany and the eastern front or even the western front. I'm sure you knew that already though.

  • Your ignorance is clearly visible, I sure hope you aren't in or planning on joining ANY armed service because you won't last a fucking day. The Army is the LARGEST branch, they are NOT a bunch of sissies but are mainly responsible for 80% of all combat. Manpower is important, and that is what the Army is, a large group of soldiers.

  • yeah no shit i wouldn't last a day. i've got heart problems. but i don't need to be in the army to know how to use a weapon. put one of those sand nigs in my sights and i'll hit him

  • yeah sure oorah like the jardheads who think they're badass as a lowly private. get real. the marines did have a big part in iwo jima, but they had nothing to do with the eastern front or alot of other things. they're simply not the best
