You go so wild xD dropping everything hahaha that´s fucking great, like your double bass Anders I wanna hear the new material of Hammerfall, keep metal alive ;)
You know i love Yngwie he wrote some great songs and When i was about 13 a friend gave me Deep Purple's Machine head and Yngwie's Rising Force album so that fired me up to start playing. But i got to say he is a Hypocrite because if i understand correctly he wants everyone in his band to play exactly what he wrote and not to improvise but he himself never plays his parts exactly as he wrote them.Anyway do you know why Dimebag Darrell and Yngwie had a fight in the 90's?I couldn't find info on this
first i have to say that your playing is absolutely great and just musically virtuosic... and the other thing i want to ask what happened with your hihat? xD
I never Knew Played again with 2/3 of Rising Force in 1999. I would Have given Anything to Be there That Night. Anders You Definitely Are The God Of Drums. Keep Up The Great Playing.
The drums are such a big part of this song. Wow..... watching this is a real eye opener. It is tough enough playing drums live and being at the mercy of the monitors. And to pull this off by barely hearing the bass? and no rythm guitar?..This song is a drum clinic in itself about keeping time. Amazing
i believe that your work on enigma suite is one masterpiece, if u have it on video you must upload it, thanks for your work! hey one question... is patrick johansson a relative yours? haha i just cant find it on internet, good bye
Thanks for the comment regarding the playing. The only sound came from an old Hi-8 camera. This was just a "fun" thing from a one time gig with him back in 1999.
He didn't want me to film him. So I recorded it from behind myself. It was at this gig I met the band (Hammerfall) I play with now. They saw the gig and asked me to join them.
Oops, I guess I put my foot in my mouth; I assumed it was a fan's vid. You're a monster player, and my hat's off to you. Thanks for being polite after I was a bit rude. I think you recorded a project with one of my two all time favorite guitarists; Allan Holdsworth (the other being Shawn Lane). To me that secures your place in modern music history. Keep up the killer playing.
Thanks again for the nice words. No problem about the critic which is right. I think the camera was to close. It's happened after this as well. Nowadays I have an external mic.
Yes, Allan is and Shawn was totally amazing players!
It takes one hell of a drummer to keep up with Yngwie, and Anders is one hell of a drummer, and now he is making magic with with Hammerfall. oh btw u operate the hihat with ur left foot, thats why its moving lol, and he is using that when not doublepedalling his bass drums, a tap dancer could not do that:-P
The '80s Rising Force line up with the Johansson brothers was fantastic. These swedish guys surely knowned how to play ROCK music. Applause for them !
wow, he's merciless, poor drum kit! loved yngie in the 80s with jens and anders, they rocked. when was this filmed? looks like he's playing to about 5 people?!
Anders: I have a holy dream, it´s about you and your brother backing with Yngwie. It was a realy powerfull rising force. I like Hammerfall too. See my video, Aural-D.A.R. Eternamente
I like this vid; there's plenty of full-frontal Yngwie-stuff out there & that's cool.
But we should not forget about the great musicians at his side providing the fundaments for him to build on.
By the way, in front of this German-speaking audience Yngwie's rythm-section seems to be more focused than the maestro himself judging from what you mostly hear instead of see from this corner...
THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!!
