  • THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!!

    No click

  • いいネェ~!涙が出てくるネ!!

  • You go so wild xD dropping everything hahaha that´s fucking great, like your double bass Anders I wanna hear the new material of Hammerfall, keep metal alive ;)

  • You know i love Yngwie he wrote some great songs and When i was about 13 a friend gave me Deep Purple's Machine head and Yngwie's Rising Force album so that fired me up to start playing. But i got to say he is a Hypocrite because if i understand correctly he wants everyone in his band to play exactly what he wrote and not to improvise but he himself never plays his parts exactly as he wrote them.Anyway do you know why Dimebag Darrell and Yngwie had a fight in the 90's?I couldn't find info on this

  • Its.. very funny the cymbals going to "a walk" for 10 seconds at 1:50 :D

  • What an amazing drumming! One of the best drummers in the rock scene!!

    Respect

  • that damn high-hat haha. you're the best Anders.

  • I FRECKING LOVE THIS VIDEO !! SHOWS WHAT A MASTER DRUMMER ANDERS IS FOR THOSE WHO JUST CANT HEAR IT ! THEY CAN SEE IT AS WELL !! HA HA AT TIME 3:36 !

  • DAMN!!!

  • DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh boy, how did you learn, to play so fucking fast on Drums?

  • I've been listing to you for 30 years. Come by and laugh at my drum solos some time.

  • 3:40 seems like you've beaten the microphone intentionally hahahaha

  • Este es el bajista del concierto de 1985 live in Japan! tambien el baterista

  • Killer Man!!

  • first i have to say that your playing is absolutely great and just musically virtuosic... and the other thing i want to ask what happened with your hihat? xD

  • cool video! Nice perspective behind the drums. Lotta fun to watch.

  • you are awesome!!! keep on making good real good music!!

  • niceeee so powerfull

  • I never Knew Played again with 2/3 of Rising Force in 1999. I would Have given Anything to Be there That Night. Anders You Definitely Are The God Of Drums. Keep Up The Great Playing.

  • Love it!!!

    From another drummer

  • thanks anders!

  • marcel jacob rest in peace.. he passed away at june 21 7:02 pm

  • funny drums :D

  • The drums are such a big part of this song. Wow..... watching this is a real eye opener. It is tough enough playing drums live and being at the mercy of the monitors. And to pull this off by barely hearing the bass? and no rythm guitar?..This song is a drum clinic in itself about keeping time. Amazing

  • Drummer doesn't time himself off anyone in the band, that's why he's the drummer, they all time off him.

  • i believe that your work on enigma suite is one masterpiece, if u have it on video you must upload it, thanks for your work! hey one question... is patrick johansson a relative yours? haha i just cant find it on internet, good bye

  • bass & drums, excellent so accurate.

  • I never realized how awesome the drums were in this song. Damn you're a powerful player.

  • Riktigt bra på trummor , en av mina Favoriter, har spelat och spelar i mina favoritband, tummen upp !

  • Thats amazing to see Yngwie and Anders sharing the stage again.

  • du har ingen keps på dig? :O ^^

  • The playing is great but the sound on the vid is shit-why destroy a great performance with a shit presentation like this? Show some respect.

  • Thanks for the comment regarding the playing. The only sound came from an old Hi-8 camera. This was just a "fun" thing from a one time gig with him back in 1999.

He didn't want me to film him. So I recorded it from behind myself. It was at this gig I met the band (Hammerfall) I play with now. They saw the gig and asked me to join them.

    Best,

    Anders

  • Oops, I guess I put my foot in my mouth; I assumed it was a fan's vid. You're a monster player, and my hat's off to you. Thanks for being polite after I was a bit rude. I think you recorded a project with one of my two all time favorite guitarists; Allan Holdsworth (the other being Shawn Lane). To me that secures your place in modern music history. Keep up the killer playing.

  • Thanks again for the nice words. No problem about the critic which is right. I think the camera was to close. It's happened after this as well. Nowadays I have an external mic.

Yes, Allan is and Shawn was totally amazing players!

  • yngwie always seems so paranoid when it comes to bootlegs. he doesn't have anything to hide when it comes to his playing so what's up?

nice drums btw. rising force was amazing with the twins!

  • @AndersJohansson - Brilliant ! I love it ! Glad you did it Bro !

  • It takes one hell of a drummer to keep up with Yngwie, and Anders is one hell of a drummer, and now he is making magic with with Hammerfall. oh btw u operate the hihat with ur left foot, thats why its moving lol, and he is using that when not doublepedalling his bass drums, a tap dancer could not do that:-P

Best instrumental song of all times Btw...

  • Awesome

  • Anders, these video's are really great. Please post any more that you have from this show...

  • What´s wrong with his hi-hat?

  • LOL I noticed it kind of dissapears. The hi-hat moves on its own? o_o

  • YJM=God. Period.

  • As said before, Best line up and era!!!!!

    Rising Force forever!!!

  • hey thats gotta be somewhere in germany or austria cause theyre shouting "zugabe" in the end which means encore!

  • It says Frankfurt in the about this video text. ;)

  • when I first watched this video I didnt see that - thanks

  • Malmsteen's best song and best line up when recorded....

    Johanssons rule!

  • The '80s Rising Force line up with the Johansson brothers was fantastic. These swedish guys surely knowned how to play ROCK music. Applause for them !

  • Love the Johansson brothers definitly Yngwies best lineup.

  • che grandi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yngwie & brothers Johansson forever

  • kickass but he needs a sandbag to keep his hi hat from falling over or something? killer shot though

  • wow, he's merciless, poor drum kit! loved yngie in the 80s with jens and anders, they rocked. when was this filmed? looks like he's playing to about 5 people?!

  • Shit¡¡¡ I LOVE THIS. You are GREAT, Anders.

  • -Sånt jeevla ööös, tack Anders! Earliest record I have with Anders is with the group Silver Mountain.

  • Best drummer with Malmsteen

  • This is a nice video because whenever I watch Yngwie, it is very hard to appreciate the drumming.

  • Great drumming!

  • The Johanssons are great musicians, keep working hard and you'll have no boundaries, even if you're already far beyond the sun :)

  • anders johansson is still yngwies best drummer ever.

  • jajaja a lot of problems with the hi hats XD

    anders awesome!!!

    yngwie is like god :D

    very good video

  • Anders: I have a holy dream, it´s about you and your brother backing with Yngwie. It was a realy powerfull rising force. I like Hammerfall too. See my video, Aural-D.A.R. Eternamente

    GODD LUCK MAN

    POWER RULES!!

  • That was awesome... JÄVLIGT BRA !!

  • sounds great, especially for 'live'

  • A truly amazing drumming performance, power and speed is awesome. Great to view from drummer angle. Thanks Anders for this video...any more ???

  • The drummer is now in the band called

    HAMMERFALL

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • Anders is a mutant! :)

  • SUPER STUFF

  • Dude - that drummer was awesome - there should be more vids like this, as I'm a drummer too :-)

  • Holy crap - part II...

I just realized (after watching it again) that he knocked his hit-hat over before his hit-hat hit the mic - yikes!!!!!

  • Holy crap!!! The drummer knocked his hit-hat mic off it's stand!!! - Awesome!!!! This guy is a hard hitter!!!

  • Too cool!!!! I love this view of things!!!!

  • as always, amazing...

  • Another angle for a different view...

    I like this vid; there's plenty of full-frontal Yngwie-stuff out there & that's cool.

But we should not forget about the great musicians at his side providing the fundaments for him to build on.

By the way, in front of this German-speaking audience Yngwie's rythm-section seems to be more focused than the maestro himself judging from what you mostly hear instead of see from this corner...

    A new Yngwie-video on YouTube?

    Nice drumming man!!!
