  • Excellent .. Thanks !

  • Are we in love, or just friends? Baby, can't we be both?? I know, it just doesn't work out that way. Beautiful women with lovely voices. First heard this one at a Disco Club of all places. One guy actually dropped his drink. Of course they weren't as expensive as they are today, otherwise he would have held on with a "Kung Fu Grip". Fantastic post.

  • Another of my favorite. Precious moments indeed!

  • I still remember these ladies performing on TV and their enormous hairdos. Yes, the hair was huge, but the song is timeless. Thank you for posting it.

  • Charles Bronson mentions this song in his book from Prison. Breaks my heart.

  • One of the best songs ever in the history of music. Never gets old. :)

  • Every one of these ladies can sing harmony or lead....all different looking yet all beautiful.....always thought Valerie was soo cute !

  • @ronnied828 Yes, INDEED! Fayette Pinkney (an original member) with Sheila Ferguson (on lead, here) and Valerie Holiday (who still performs with the group) are the Classic line-up of the Three Degrees! This song made them international stars and celebrities! Sadly, Faye passed away in 2009 at the age of 61. Sheila is a solo performer now-a-days, and Valerie continues with the 3 Degrees alongside Helen Scott, and Freddie Poole (who recently replaced Cindy Garrison due to illness).

  • Great song

  • This really takes me back. It must have been the fall of 1974. So many of my loved ones are gone. So many friends are passed on. Someday I will see them all again.

Maybe The End that eveyone is worried about is just another beginning. Like in the song.....like passing through a tunnel.

  • Very beautiful song by The Three Degrees in the 1970's.

  • which one of these beautiful women passed away a few years ago?

  • @glasscitadel12 I believe it's Fayette Pinckney, the founding member in 2009. Thanks for listening.

  • @MrPinoyrock I listen to this as a young teenager ( 13 ) in New York City on WWRL Am and tonight wanted to hear a old song and this was it !! ha ha

  • @MrPinoyrock may she RIP.

  • Rollo knows talent when he sees it
