Are we in love, or just friends? Baby, can't we be both?? I know, it just doesn't work out that way. Beautiful women with lovely voices. First heard this one at a Disco Club of all places. One guy actually dropped his drink. Of course they weren't as expensive as they are today, otherwise he would have held on with a "Kung Fu Grip". Fantastic post.
I still remember these ladies performing on TV and their enormous hairdos. Yes, the hair was huge, but the song is timeless. Thank you for posting it.
@ronnied828 Yes, INDEED! Fayette Pinkney (an original member) with Sheila Ferguson (on lead, here) and Valerie Holiday (who still performs with the group) are the Classic line-up of the Three Degrees! This song made them international stars and celebrities! Sadly, Faye passed away in 2009 at the age of 61. Sheila is a solo performer now-a-days, and Valerie continues with the 3 Degrees alongside Helen Scott, and Freddie Poole (who recently replaced Cindy Garrison due to illness).
This really takes me back. It must have been the fall of 1974. So many of my loved ones are gone. So many friends are passed on. Someday I will see them all again.
Maybe The End that eveyone is worried about is just another beginning. Like in the song.....like passing through a tunnel.
คนไทย...Fall in love this song when Im young boy about 5-6 years old. And now 48 Im love it forever
