I just got my psp yesterday and I guess its to late....... I upgraded to the official 6.10 frameware....

They say its impossible to downgrade or tamper with.

you're really unlucky then, man... There's no way to downgrade on psp 3000, and there's no way to install any custom firmware on psp with official firmware over 5.03...

Ronald123 , If you start the games and the screen turn black , upgrade it to Gen - D, happens to me when starting Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 on M33-6 and i upgrade to Gen D everything work fine!

Just get a 3.06 custom firmware enabler. Load it when chickHEN is installed. To play all downloaded games including ps1 GBA intendo etc games.

I found a way that works almost everytime! just use the tiff nothing else. when you select the mem card under photos while it starts to load push left (directional) as fast as you can, if it does not work it will take you back to the menu, this will keep it from freezing. try again and usally the second time it goes through.!!

This exploit only work on OFW 5.03. And yes you'll have to upgrade if u have something lower. Make sure you download the update from somewhere not from ur psp because it will update straight to 5.50 and Sony patched this exploit in 5.50.

Now to get it to work go into ur PHOTO folder until u see the chickHEN folder DON'T PRESS ANYTHING wait for the mms light on ur psp to stop blinking and unti u see the small thumbnail> then press X only ONCE then wait (DO NOT SCROLL UP OR DOWN OR PRESS ANYTHING) just wait ur psp should crash and reboot back to HEN environment. IF this doesn't work then go to System Settings reset default settings then try again. If you follow all the instructions it should work every single time (100% success).

This works great on my PSP 1000, but whenever it runs out of battery or I restart (by holding the power button, for any given reason) the firmware is back to regular 5.03, then I have to try to get it on 5.03HEN again but I have to restart my PSP alot of times before it works again.....

Is there any way to make it stay as 5.03HEN permanently even if the psp turns completely off??

You did a Network Update. It automatically downloads the latest update and installs it.

There's no way for a TA-088v3 Slim nor 3000 to downgrade at this moment.

The HEN only works on firmware 5.03.

Still I admit the touchscreen is good, but for the mayority of games it's only annoying or unnecessary. With a m3-flashcard you can almost do what you can do on a PSP with OFW
