No doubt he has a nice voice and this was also a nice cover, but not nearly as awesome as the original by Josh Groban. Maybe David was tired, but there wasn't nearly enough power and emotion that this song demands. I'm in NO WAY saying this isn't good though. Just not good enough.

I have checked out the perfomances of the rest of the Idols and really tried to like them but I end up cutting them short and coming back to the one I really want to hear. What a golden voice he has.

Personally, I think the real treat of the evening was Archey. This kid seems to only get better with every performance. I was at opening night in Glendale, AZ and his stage presence is getting better all the time. He is going to be huge...can't wait for his single release August 12..."Crush"...look for it.
