  • @TheRealGrottulf those r some bad ass tires dude

  • is ther a turbo on that k5?

  • What a good vid love the chev

  • Nice video! Can't say I like alot of chevys but I love these two!

  • no thats chevy power

  • nothin like cuttin em off at the headers

  • your truck is a 6 lug, 2500, how is that possible? did you convert it to 2 lug when you got the lift kit, because i cant find any lift kits for IFS 8 lug chevys, and i saw a pic on the forum... lol

  • @smithkid1996

Most 2500 are 6-lugged (except for the 2500HD).

Maybe you have it confused with the older ones.

    The K20s are 8-lugged

  • @TheRealGrottulf lol, i had a bunch of links but now it will not post, oh well... i saw 1 2500 with 6 lug axles, the rest were 8 lug. oh well, i love your truck. i want one evry close to that, i just wish GM produced 4x4s with full front axles.

  • @TheRealGrottulf Ive got a 1999 K2500 and mine is 8 lug (non HD)

  • @TheRealGrottulf realy?? my 95 chevy was a 8 lugger 1500s are usally 6 lugs and 2500-up are 8

  • @Dansz71sierra

As I wrote before there are both 6- and 8-lugged 2500.

The 6-lugged version is more common here in Sweden.

But that might be because of our rules for GVW ratings are different than in the US.

Bigger pickup trucks are compared to semis...

The 8-lugged version might be more common over in the US.

  • @smithkid1996 - There were two versions of the K2500 offered from '88 to '95. The "light" duty version, which is the six lug and the regular 3/4 ton K2500 which was 8 lug. In '96, GM dropped the option and just went with 1/2. 3/4, or 1 ton trucks. The six lug is basically a 1/2 ton, with a much better rear axle (small version 9 3/4 14 bolt), up-rated suspension, and a few other minor differences.

  • @smithkid1996 there are lift kits for 8 lug chevy, but only 6 inchs if im correct look at tough country, i think thats the one i was looking for for my 8 lugger

  • @bakedbaker19 really? i have never seen those... oh well, it doesn't matter, circumstances have changed, and the suburban will be strictly a work truck... just wish it got a few more mpg. going up mountains pulling even a super light car, you can literally watch the gas guage go down, and it has a 45 gallon tank. either way, i still LOVE your truck, good luck, keep er' in the ditches! ;) lol

  • @smithkid1996 I have a K2500 with the 8 lug setup and cannot find a decent lift kit either. They made the 2500LD and 2500HD with the 6.5 diesels. He got the LD sounds like you got an HD just like I do

  • @therealgrottulf hell yeah!! I love your choice of truck!!! I have a 1992 k2500, I am motavated to mob it as hard as this one!!!:) its also black and is a longbed extended cab!!!

  • Good fun right there! I'm rollin a 81 k-10 longbed right now 3" on 33x12.50 wild country radial rvt's. It's unstoppable(to an extent). My friend's call it the "FORD RESCUE VEHICLE" Chevy rules!!! Great vid keep em' coming!!!

  • The classic chevy dent right at the 4x4 sticker. haha. 6/10 chevys 88-98 have that dent there. they should have put a support there.

  • both you guys have bad ass trucks man

  • YEAH o you should deff get a lift for the blazer cause clearance is key !!!

  • Yeah im getting a 6inch skyjacker lift and 35's put on my blazer 94 full size they said that that should be a good set up...which i hope it is......cause i will be pissed if i am un satisfied....thats a shit ton of money ....so we will wait and see ~nail bitting~

  • man that diesal druck does good.

  • lol the blazer sounds a little tired.

  • love the k2500. i got a 1994 k2500 with the 6.5td and granny gear nv4500. right now im running 35's under it with no lift, just cut out part of the front fenders but am looking at a lift for more clearance. what engine is in your truck? love to see an ifs chevy actually out wheeling

  • @wholesteen

    It's the 6.2d in mine (it's a -91).

There's some more info about the lift on ColoradoK5

    See the link above.

  • @wholesteen check mine out just lifted it 6.5 nv4500 k2500 with some goodies

  • what are the specs on the 2500? what size tires?

  • @zuksammy

I've got a Rancho 6" lift kit on it.

And the tires are Interco SSR 37/12.5-16

The tires are a little too big to be safe for the front axle....

  • @TheRealGrottulf They look like they are holding up fine. Lots of spinning and no breaking. Makes me want one to drive.
