i doubt this game on pc is 100x better funner and harder, seeing its the same game. modding it will make it slightly better, but not by much. besides, hating on a console version of the game is just plain childish and dumb.

Hell yeah it took me three times to finally beat the first asshole revenant in eastern forest the trick is like the vid says jump on the skeletons really quick then keep your tank alive "alistair" while the others tee off on the revenant I did it with Wynn (lvl10) healing and alistair (lvl10"tanking and my dwarf rogue(lvl11) and sten (lvl11) I think I kinda get lucky but ill take it..I cant even use the armor yet but will after another lvl up

Not 100X harder.

The difficulty difference is there, but it's relatively small because the game becomes more manageable on the PC interface.... most people who claim the PC is way harder than console haven't actually played both, or don't take other things besides enemy toughness into consideration.

This is way too early in the game && the character wasn't ready to rely on melee just yet. But yeah, the characters entire template is based around melee && tanking. Which is why I refused to pick up a 2nd offensive spell to make it easier early on.

You get 2 specializations so you can do Blood Mage + Arcane Warrior, or Blood Mage + Shapeshifter.

I personally like the Blood Mage + Arcane Warrior skillset better. If you have the expansion there are more combinations to choose from though.

I actually haven't played the DLC content for this game so I don't know what kind of content those provide. But, with Awakening you'll have more specializations (Battlemage && Keeper) so you'll have more options to choose from.

The PC version looks better indeed, but there are slight differences other than the graphics. Dragon Age on the PC is way more based on strategy, while the console version is based on action, which I personally like better.

@VizioNGam3rZ what makes it so much better is graphics you can have about 30 quick access abilities in the bottom of the screen saving you can create your own mods with the dao toolset (you can also use other peoples), you can enable developers console and the gameplay overall is better than both consoles gameplay with this game, I own 3 copies of DAO 1 for Xbox 360, PS3 and computer and computer is by far the best.

This is lame party selection, 3 melee characters. Lame skill/spell selection. That makes rally boring playthrought. I played with me(blood mage/arcane) Alistar(templar/champion), wynne(spirit/blood), lilliiana or morrigan(bloodmage). I wasn't using arcane warrior abilities at all. I found more entertaining playing as a blood, crowd control mage, with lot of different spells. And playing that game on a console, pad...

If I remember correctly if you get 3 pieces in the forrest ... one is in the west forrest (sorta in the middle) and the other two are in the east forrest (one pretty much right out the front of the entrance to the dungeon and the other right up the northern tip of the map. It's quite easy to find ... if you go anywhere near any of the sites there will be a map marker showing the gravesite.

I think it was the helmet? (maybe) that was in the west forest.... either way it should show up on your map if you were near it... I'm pretty sure it was near the center of the map.

In the east forest, one is just past the hermit, the other is just outside the ruins behind some pillars.

Well tjuggernaut gives lots of resisistance to spells and stuff so it kinda depends if your fighting wizards or your tank is taking in mass amounts of damage

I'm confused,i got the full juggernaut plate on one of my playthroughs(Elf Mage),after Loitering,i went straight to the dalish elfs,i couldn't open that door but i still got the plate,i just don't recall if i got it from a pack of sloth demons or from a chest!I walk out of there with my Mage + Arcane Warrior spec + full juggernaut armor equiped!I choose the werewolfs alliance.... much better than elves for the final battle!

make sure to have the tablet then do this: 1. Take the earthen jug from the fountain. 2. Fill the earthen jug with water. 3. Leave the pool alone. 4. Place the filled earthen jug on top of the altar. 5. Kneel before the altar and pray. 6. Examine the earthen jug on the altar. 7. Take a single sip from the water in the jug. 8. Take the earthen jug. 9. Leave the altar alone. 10. Dump the water in the jug back into the pool.

I provided everything anybody should need to find the armor.... paused it to show map, told how to open the door and what you need to get in it, the only people that can't find it are the ones that can't follow instructions. I've even been helpful to anyone who sent me a message with questions about it.

As far as "what to do with the armor".... do you REALLY need somebody to tell you to equip it? =P

The wolves are much deeper in these ruins, way at the end.

The entrance to their lair is in a room directly to the right of a dead end after you face an Arcane Horror... once you're in their lair you basically walk straight ahead to the main chamber to find them.

You take the jug, and fill it with water. Then you place it on the altar. Then you kneel and worship it. Then you take a sip, then you take it back to the fountain and pour it out. That last bit took me a second, because the tablet literally has the priestess standing in the water with it overflowing from the jug.
