I believe from all that I read, that he chose to remain in Australia to be nearer to his wife and children. Very admirable, but a great loss to the rest of the world. Thank God for YouTube! I am getting to discover him all over again after falling in love with him while watching an HBO special of Little River Band in 1983. @KarenBlackburn . I had the privilage of meeting this amazing man many years ago when he was a young man. he is as nice today as he was then, very down to earth and he knows the can sing, he's not an ego-maniac and doesnt need to to BIG. he already is BIG, to us aussies, he's a legend.
