I have met Mike Patton, and yes, he is a total asshole....but he's a brilliant, talented musician/composer...you don't have to like someone personally to enjoy their music, and if you feel as if you do, then you are'nt respecting the creation. Music isn't a popularity contest; at least it should'nt be. With that said, I think Anthony Keidis sucks. Ever seen RHCP live? It's embarrassing. shortlyt after this is when kiedis developed his vendetta and thought patton was copying his style so Kiedis got Mr. Bungle removed from a bunch of shows they were playing in Europe because RHCP was headlining and they had final say in who would play. Patton found out that it was all Kiedis' doing and decided that he would immitate him on stage on halloween and completely butcher the song

yeah they didnt steal the name of the album from mr bungle they were just similarly named. the reason that patton imitates kiedis is because kiedis thought that patton and mr bungle were stealing his style back in 98 or 99 and then the albums were realeased in 99 they were supposed to be released on the same day but since RHCP was so big then they delayed bungles release.

Apparently, it was out of "fear of retribution by Kiedis" but yeah as I said that's only apparently why.
