  • haha he's gloating about it!

  • 'Walt, this is Mickey, comin to join ya!!'

  • @EagleVendetta

It's indicative of his personality throughout. Willard is too insecure to act in his own interests. He could never stand up to anyone directly, not even to save Socrates.

  • @EagleVendetta He couldn't have done anything in front of everyone. If he had claimed the rats were his he would've be fired, even though he was already let go, and probably ridiculed. Willard wasn't stupid. Mr. Martian was just a mean, selfish person.

  • I don't understand how this movie makes anyone hate rats. If anything it makes me hate people.

  • I correct myself...Willard shouldve stuck up for Socratis...

  • Willard is to blame, how couldn't he see that having a fav would cause issues? Or keeping hundreds of rats for that matter...

  • Willard is going to go postal with Rats lots and lots of Rats!

  • I've comed to the conclusion that movie is HUGE. LOL, seriously though. It's the plight of us all. Rats rule so do you and not me. LOL LOL lolololol

  • Of course he's going to be. New York! The BIG Apple! Wooo hooo!

  • Why's he being so mean to Ben? It's because he (Willard) was treated so badly for so long. All I can hope is that this human being realizes...that there is a bigger picture than what we've all know.

  • Offices were weird back then. No computers. Everyone just mosied along not under anywhere near the pressure that we're all under. Desks look so weird without computers. Life was at a much slower pace then.

  • @SkyOne1111 You're right. And although I appreciate the internet, I enjoyed the slower pace of the '70s compared to today too.

  • Bruce would make a great Jeffrey Dahmer if he was lot younger like in this film.

  • @georgelee43211 Oh come on now, No Jeffrey Dahmer here. Willard was a man of feelings and insight. Above and beyond the sorry lost souls of today. We should all pay attention to this guy's intentions and vision. If we did then maybe....just maybe we could get this planet back in shape!

  • It peed me off when Willard didn't save Socratis, he had nothing to lose plus he could have said to everyone "i'll get the rats out of here" and he'd of been a hero, the big dork.

  • God damnit Willard do something! Oh nos

  • I hated to see Socrates get killed by the jerk, but later on the rest of the mice get revenge on Martin.

  • Such sappy music does not go with the movie!!!

  • @EagleVendetta

Well then he could get sued.

  • @EagleVendetta

If he did anything he's instantly be tied to any rat related incident that happened to his boss and he'd lose his job.

  • so sad :(

  • Yeah, that was always the most heartwrenching part of the movie.

I saw the movie in the theater as a kid. Now that I'm older, I realize what a coward Willard was. He just got his 30 day notice, so he had nothing to lose. He should have stood up and said, "Sorry, it's just my pet mouse."

  • Poor Socrates

    :(

Didn't think they'd show him being beaten to death

  • yikes that was horrific!

    poor Socrates. :(

  • Willard's expression..wow. That was horrible. Poor Soc's.

  • Ohhh that part made me sad.

    Poor poor Socratis..

  • @XurikHikari After his mom dies, his family and friends wouldn't loan him money, and worst of all his boss harassing and firing him, there's only one thing to say: "TEAR HIM UP!!!!!!"
