Had a Q. I've searched the net for "vibe mountain", the artist credited at the end of the video, and I've come up with nothing. Is there a page I can listen to this music and if so do you have a link?
@1:50 >"an MRI can detect a sroke within a matter of minutes, whereas with CT it could be several hours or even a couple of days before you actually see the abnormality."
@OurBraveNewWorld So you're suggesting that if we were to ask a Dr. in, say, England he would tell you that MRI's do not in fact rely upon magnetic impulses and radiowaves? You're simply misinformed if you believe that MRI's contain ionizing (harmful) radiation. That would be CT scanning, dear. Big difference there.
@OurBraveNewWorld I just realized that you responded to this. You probably won't see this message but I'll reply to it anyway.
I disagree that MRI's are harmful. CT scans do produce ionizing radiation that *can* lead to harmful mutations, such as cancer (though the risk is usually very low.) MRI's on the other hand are magnet based (hence the name - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.) Unless you have a metal implant in your body, there is almost no risk of harm with MRI.
I had my dentist once tell me that the radiation level from her X-Ray was no more than direct exposure to sunlight. This does't make sense to me; why would they ever have to leave the room then? I know over exposure to UV Rays can cause the genetic mutations know as skin cancer, but they don't permeate the body to cause other forms of internal cancers. And the amount of X-Ray radiation that reaches us from the sun is minimal at best. So why does the dentist leave the room?
@radguitar1 because the button to turn it on is outside the cubical. it's weird i know, but thats how its like in my dentistry. Might be in yours too.
@radguitar1 The radiation is not for very long. They were probably trying to say it's the equivalent of being in the sun all as much as you would throughout the day.

@Azheim I'm not suggesting what you think . . .MRI's and CT scans are harmful, do you disagree?

If you need an MRI the last concern is the MRI itself..... its not like you will take an aspirin and cure......
