Everquest is still the best MMORPG out there, and there is no comparison in the amount of content. Everquest has 16 expansions and is still going strong! Everquest is like a fine wine, it just gets better with age!

Yes, Eq is still goin strong, some people left for eq2 when it first came out, but many of them quit eq2 and came back.

Hio, it's that time of year again, the time of year to hide from your family and play a 10 year old emulated game in the basement, now with ITEM LOOT!

The vz/tz pvp server is being wiped in a few days, the date isn't set yet but probably either wednesday or thursday. Theres a new host since the last wipe and the server experiences no lag even with 60+ people in 1 zone.

ive played eq swense the classics and wow i have a 80 mage on wow and a 73 enchanter on eq or did b4 i quit honestly eq leveling is just grinding mobs its soooo long and gay and pvp as u can see is stupid and there is no customization or anything and the only place u can pvp is in the arena witch no1 goes to so sry eq but get with the times

@jakedork - i dont normally reply to these comments however retarted they may be, but ill make an exception for you. You chose the bluebie (non-pvp) route of EQ... on the pvp server (Zek) you had to fight for your exp zones and raid mobs, people had to know how to play their class and everyother. Im assuming now you play on a PVP server on WOW (if they have it), I would just like to ask you why the change of heart? It sounds like you just couldnt cut it on zek.

If you think zek was rough, you should have tried sullon zek.

You could be lvl 6 and a lvl 50 would be running around your zone slaying all the lowbies for hours.

Training mobs on people was allowed and encouraged.

There were 0 rules except no 3rd party hacks

I hated when they switched it over to Zek combing all the pvp servers, ruined the fun for me.

i would still be playing EQ if it wasnt for the fact that spells in pvp are now completly useless, u can make yourself practicly immune to spells with resists and the pvp nerf, yet melee damage does max damage in pvp especially when u wear silk.

when i was using a heal pot which does +700/tick and when he hit me, it looked like my health-bar moved down then back to the same-ish spot, soooo... 700 dmg in that round, as a guess. he would do much much more vs someone with lower ac.
