Lol I could never play this game at all. I get about 2 frames per second when playing this, I run it on my laptop's built-in graphics chipset. Lags unfixably.

@Topulis91 It will have a mechlab in the final release (v.1.0). As off now several features (even features seen in this video from alpha stage) are not included in the game yet for several reasons. I highly recommend to play it though. It is, without a doubt, the best mechwarrior release ever and becomes better with every version.

The problem is that it demands high hardware specifications (even more than regular crysis). On my PC it runs at 30fps+, so lag free. But mine is up to date (i7 etc.)

the air combat footage reminds me of old WW2 footage, not to mean that its just as bad, but it has that style to it. At least I'll be able to pilot mechs AND planes.

Agreed, but this team is working on making good changes. The part about MS, is diffrent. FESA went out of business, but not they have bought back the rights and now look like they are making a larger game, who knows maybe they will be making a MMO.

Air combat looks good, mech combat looks worse than Mechwarrior 3, perhaps the job is nowhare close to completion. That being said, no fan produced Mech game will ever go gold, we've watched a number of efforts fail miserably and this looks like another of these. Lots of promises made, but dev times are so long that tech outstrips software enough to make the entire project a collosal waste of time. It's a shame, the genre didn't deserve the death that MS ordered.

This makes Halo look like a joke, sorry but yeah...Halo has one tank, a jeep and jet and a heli as the main articles of vehicles, this has 34 complete mechs, about 14 tanks, 8 aerospace fighters, powered battle armor and customizable loadouts for your weapons when you get any vehicle. No comparison.

Hmmm, its good those guys make something for Battletech universe... but on the other hand as I see it's gonna be simply a kind of arcade-battle. Heh, I'm just used to Mechwarrior being a futuristic-war-machines simulator, not an Arcade :/ It kind of kills the sense of the series.

No they have not announced it. But from looking at some of the vid's they are adding some cool stuff, so its worth the wait.
