thanks a lot for the videos and clips mates.its lovely to see them again since back from late 60's where they played the big beat sound in colombo.they are with great talent and the music is fantastic.jet.
Hi Nihal, I will be uploading more clips. Problem is to get the clip to conform with YouTube file requirements and retain the audio/video quality. Yes I was one those Coconut Grovers!!! I am now trying to keep the dream alive!!! Enjoy!
Thank you Gehan, I really appreciate it. I have sent the two song links to all my friends from Sri Lanka Worldwide, they all appreciate your efforts as well, bringing back memories. I am in Washington, D.C., what part of the States do you reside in? Thx again and Cheers,
Uploaded 2 more clips. Nice to know that there are many who recall the Jets. I now live in Sydney Australia. Hope the winter is not too cold out there in Washington. Have a lovely Christmas & a great New Year!
Thx a million, I will send those two clips to all my Sri Lankan address book as well. You may know some of my friends from Royal College class of 1963 that reside in Sydney. It is not too cold today here but I know that it is Summer where you are! MERRY CHRISTMAS from Washington. Cheers,
These guys were top of the Charts for many years in the late '60s and early 70's, all born and bred in Sri Lanka (aka Ceylon). They went their own ways to the UK, Denmark, Sweden Australia and two remain in Sri Lanka. In 2003, when this clip was filmed, they did a reunion concert in Melbourne Australia. Not sure if they will get together again, but together they were and jsut are DYNOOMITEEEE!!!Thanks for the comments!!!
