  • junker I would like to learn more about this radio, I have one I just got but I need a plug for the mic. I know nothing about this so I would need color coded instructions on how to wire the mike plug. I have a D104 mic.

  • i have an old lafayette comstat 23 ive been trying to get working the AC power supply transformer is burned out so i got it running on 12 volts every thing lights up and all the tube heaters turn on but no sound comes out and it wont transmit

  • well nice radio but all i saw was the meter and a light?

  • I have three of those 23 Channel Courier Royale Radio's! I love the old tube radio's.

Put some new tubes in that baby and tune it up & you got a kick ass Base Station! Turner Plus Three Desk Mic works best with that Royale.

  • @Halftrac A astatic d-10 works best on mine....ceramic....1952...not a d 104...a d-10..When I tryed my Turner +3 or ssb,,,or any of my 37 amplified mikes it did not sound as well as my un mod turner 776,unmod d 104,unmod shure built for drake 7,my unmod electro voice (browning and Tec Ten)....the best of all my was my 1952 d-10 astatic ..even my FIN didnt do it as well..but that was just me and my junk...I love my Royale,my,Browning's,Trams,Lafayette's,Regency's,and m y 1954 trc 5..TUBE RULES
