Nice cover, mate. Curious as to why you left out the swear words. Not that I think swearing in songs is especially clever unless they add meaning or comedy, but the sneering way in which Lennon sings 'you're all f*****g peasants...' is probably the key line in the song, imo. Keep rockin'

I was trying to find a version without it, and I came upon this version. The only reason I needed an edited version is for a Sociology class. We're talking about social classes. And I love John Lennon...so I needed a school appropriate version. But I agree, the cursing makes the song.

@assfangitron the point of covering a song exactly the same as the original is honoring the song copying (also known as covering) it instead of getting your ego getting to far by making something from the original. It always depends on what you're intentions are

Well done mate thats the only correct version that I have seen on youtube so far. Everyone seems to sneak in a D chord for some reason. I think becouse they cannot get the nice hammer on that you have achieved. Well done it sounds good!

Hello, Thanks for your comments. I'm playing the 5th string in Am, strumming a bit, then hammering on the 4th string with my 2nd finger. I think the chord is a D9 but its basically just Am with the 2nd finger off. Cheers, Colin
