  • Hey, I learned many tips from you, your portraits are amazing.

What kind of a pencil do you use?

hope I can find it in Israel lol... thanks !

  • It is a drafting lead holder for 2 mil leads. I use 4b. These are common, and you will also need a sanding block for the chisel point method.

  • I am learning drawing in my home, but could it be better if i was going to a teacher in person instead of sitting in my home and learning on my own?

  • I like the video very much-more tips than I learned in class. Please tell me the guage of sandpaper you use to sharpen the pencil. Also, please tell me the name of the fabric Bandaids you use for your fingers. I think that is a wonderful tip.

    Thanks

  • It is a little block I buy at the art store in the drafting section. It is fine sandpaper. I usually use Band-Aid brand, but i also have used other brands of fabric bandaids with equal success. Glad to help.

  • It is fine sandpaper. I use mostly Band Aid brand. But any fabric bandaid works - I have tried them all and they are all OK.

  • What is the pencil the you're using? Your work is lovely!

  • It is just a Staedtler Mars drafring lead holder, with ordinary 2 mil leads, 4B. THe key is to sand the tip on the sandpaper for a chiseled point. THat is what makes it work so well.

  • can u tell me a good art store in Scarbough?

  • I love the look of your lines.

Im currently taking Animation, but I really want to do life-drawing and do comics as a career. Any tips or helpfully knowledge you can give ?

  • Well, I have given alot of tips here. Animation is a team thing. You never do very much of the project in animation. Just a little part. A bit disappointing, in my view. But there is a growing demand for it!

  • Very true, but unfortunately for me, I've got to do an entire project by myself as part of the learning. And thanks for all the tips on how to make great lines, but I was looking for helpfully knowledge on how I can go about making life-drawing and comicbook-drawing as a career ?

  • THANKS !
