going with CIEE to Japan this coming year (I'm graduating first, then going for 13th year of hs)! Sooo excited, I won't know my host family until January so I'm told, so I hope I will find out where i'm going sooner than you did, I can also be very impatient :)
Sweet, i will definatly see you in Chi-town, exited to be leaving the midwest, and exited to be coming to 日本. Just got my Visa and i am gonna post a video for that, cause i have nothing alse to post : P
yea the midwest kinda sucks man. I use to live in Turkey, but now I am back in Oklahoma. I am leaving for Japan in September. I just got my CoE and I gotta send it to the consulate in houston. I was wondering this. I filled out a visa application back in MArch. I got my CoE now, and so I was wondering do I have to fill out another visa application and send it in with my CoE and passport?
Ya , thats what i did, its a really easy and quick one page application, and you send it in with the CoE and your passport, the organization your with will probably give you more details, but i suggest sending coppies of all the documents you send the consulate, and also keep coppies for yourself 2, its always a good idea to be overprepared
That's cool man. Thanks for the advice. My mom wanted me to wait a few weeks, but I already got it taken care of. So it's best to send in the copies along with the original?
ya and its also not a bad idea to keep another copy of the files youve sent in just incase, if you sent the files in a express file, then you should get your visa like 4-5 days from when you sent it
Hi I'm going to Japan next year with Afs for either six months or a year. i hope you have a good time there - japan is awesome, i went there for 2 weeks on a school trip and loved it. Good luck with your japanese study.
