  • honestly that looks f*king terrifying...

  • So leave doors and lights on ?? How Long does the battery last ??

  • @DaPuReViBe

    LED technology man ;D

  • they have this in nfs hot pursuit in highway patrol

  • @msmooimasheep but its better irl

  • What happened to the good old, highly visible light bars? Most police cars I've seen here in Europe just have two blue lights on top. And you have to be blind to miss that simple thing.

Do you really need a lightshow on wheels? More lights just means there's more that can break, and I'm sure they are all custom parts. Is the police in the US just for looks?

  • @superdau nope here in the us we have a basic cruiser with lights on top and then the headlights and taillights will flash when the top lights are on then we have like 3 different paint schemes depending on officers rank, in my town we have a truck with lights hidden not ontop so it has more clearance seeing as its a truck for hauling shit, we have an old little bunch buggy thing. the next town over has chevy impalas with lights ontop and some chargers with lights ontop and all of them strobe...

  • @superdau Do you know how many officers are severely hurt or killed from being struck by vehicles? There's no such thing as too much lighting on an emergency vehicle. Police vehicles tend to be less visible in the daytime, and this is a positive way to combat that.

  • @chris20nyy

US police cars are already lit up almost like a christmas tree and still they get hit. Why doesn't that happen around here, where police cars just have light bars?

So lights don't seem to be the issue. The problem must be somewhere else.

  • @superdau its also about fuel thats why there isnt any light bars

  • Comment removed

  • @chris20nyy how are they not visible in daylight anyway?

  • The lights actually don't seem that great...

  • I didn't know this was a real car, I thought it was something EA designed for NFS:HP. Very cool car!

  • oh my god the car have lice D:

  • アメリカはやっぱすごいね

  • Why does it have suicide doors?

  • @TheFlightExpert They have them so they can "Accidentally" disfigure a couple bad guys.

  • @ibetyourassitdoes It costs just about as much to buy a Crown Vic and retrofit it with police technology, as it does to just buy one of these...

  • @ibetyourassitdoes thats why several thousand have been ordered

    d

  • I just wish this thing was affordable!!!!! I would love to cruise LA in one of those!!!!

  • the potrol cars look good but why the fuck they need something that fancy?

    THATS OUR TAX MONEY smfh

  • best cop car, no wonder electronic arts (a gaming company) added it to one of their games!

  • i just dont like those suicide doors

  • @twotailedavenger the new taurus is way better than the older ones. But they will probably choose the fords over other companies u know the the gvt. and their profits

  • Looks good better than the older vics.. The taurus there coming up with is nice too but haven heard about that in a while

  • @MrTriggz13

    The taurus is all hype.

It's underpowered and difficult to service, so don't expect it to be very popular. Of course, with the massive popularity of the Crown Vic, they're going to try and force it down everyone's throats before the other companies get a chance to show their cars.

  • The ones that dislike this still drive a crown vic...

  • This is what the government is spending our money on? Niiiiice

  • @XoCrazyGirl5oX Government didn't spend any money building it. Also, this car will cost the same amount as the squad cars it is going to be replacing.

  • gayest fuken car evere

  • your logo is to much like Mitsubishi. and the front end looks like a Mitsubishi Lancer whats up with that

  • For a real Badass Cop

  • SO VERY COOL CAR 8D

  • Christmas Tree

  • The small LED unit on the dash seems kind of pointless.

  • dont like the slick looks and the integrated lighting

  • Last I knew suicide doors were illegal in the United States per USDOT.. so does this mean police think they are above the law?

  • @nitruswolf Nope, even some mazdas have read doors that open like that. It saves space.

  • @ClubCrew

Correct me if I'm wrong, those require the front door to be open before they can open thus are not suicide doors.

  • @nitruswolf Who's to say these doors don't as well. All I know is quite a few classic cars have suicide doors here in Canada and they take their cars to the US for shows all the time.

  • @nitruswolf Last i heard was that in chicago, nobody can carry a handgun legally, but police can. They are not above the law, but obviously they can do stuff citizens are not allowed to do.

  • @the1chris2002

I don't personally agree with the law in Chicago when it comes to an outright ban on fire arms (unconstitutional) but police are still citizens who are not any different then anyone else, they are sworn to protect and serve us "citizens" they work for us to keep us safe, but once they are enabled to be special and above us and are exempt from any law you cross the line into becoming a police state.

  • @nitruswolf I agree, all i'm saying is that police officers can do things that citizens are "NOT" allowed to do, and by saying that i do not mean that they are above the law in any way, they just uphold it but still have to be one step above citizens when it comes to force continuum.

  • @nitruswolf actually no police are not citizens who are not any different from anyone else. They actually have less rights than a normal citizen does.

  • @nitruswolf Well it's not legal for people to have fully automatic rifles but the military does. Does that mean they are above the law? No.

  • @undertake782

Depends on the state, say for instance, it's legal to own several different types of automatic rifles such as the M4 in Michigan, so yeah, it depends where you live.

  • I hate this car, not because it's ugly, but because we were one of the three finalists for the plant that were supposed to make this car, but Indiana stole it just because they threw a carnival for them and we needed the jobs more than they did.

  • Who is providing the lighting products?

  • @cmdr476 rumor has it code 3 is doing the lighting but i guess theyre doing it themselves at CM

  • i would get arrested just to ride in one!

  • NICE ROLLS ROYCE DOORS. I don't get It, If you arrest some on e with that car or the chevy 2011 or fusion 2010, the robbers are gonna be pretty comfy in the back dont you think.

  • Hey Jo, hate to tell you this, but Carbon Motors started in Georgia, so it is technically by default a Domestic manufacturer/

    Nice try.

  • @jodurt56 dumbass it started in georgia...

  • they need to build 4-wheel drive SUV's for the Department of Natural Resourses

  • @southernstyle95 they can drive priusis

  • @blaziankhmer yeah! then they wouldn't be able to catch anybody!

  • Connersville Indiana... New Home of Carbon Motors!!! Congratulations Connersville! :)

  • that is bad ass
