what about asking God to move among you to open up your homes and reach out to people with the preaching of the kingdom of God in thier communities? your congragation may be smaller, but with that kind of sacrifice would come fruit that would remain..and it wouldnt cost so much....and you could remain in the inner city where you are most needed....and maybe send someone else to the north side....ir anywhere else....much live and respect pastor. I'm glad to read that you care for the poor.

if God had a real issue with church buildings he would not have ever allowed a temple to be built. he allowed it because of the spirit that it was done in. but he did make the point that God does not need a building in order to be worshipped. what about homes...what about praying and fasting and asking God to select men from among your congragation full of the holy spirit to send them out into the city?
