It's Brilliant to see other people out there playing Beefheart stuff! Some of the best guitar ever recorded! I have been desperately wanting to learn the later slide on Big Eyed Beans from Venus but have never managed to get it quite right (nowhere near in fact). I used to transcribe Beefheart songs for the website beefheart dot com. I put a version of Electricity up there if you are interested, it is played differently to yours and unfinished. Keep up the good work mate!

This is f*ing rubbish - the chords in the verse are wrong and the opening melody's got some wrong notes as well. What's the point of putting up a 'HEY LOOK I CAN PLAY THIS' vid when it's so wrong? Eh?

The verse is G-Bb-G, not G-F-F#; the notes of the melody at the start should be:

(C) D (C) D D C Bb F; Bb B C G G A G F G. 

To play it properly you need to tune to a G major chord (DGDGBD).

Or stick to Smoke On The Water ;-/
