@evh57 I found it off Gunbroker, I also have some aftermarket aluminum stocks for other projects, not as nice as the colts, but if you clean them up and refinish with duracoat they look just as good.
Nice work. The finishes on my SIG P220 and S&W Hand Ejector MK II both look like this but they got theirs from being used by me and their previous owners.
@Metzgermeist Well it's pretty nice, when I first got it I didn't understand the mounting system, but now that I read up and seen videos on it I understand and was able to set it up, seems there's no right or wrong way to do it. Other than that I haven't test fired the rifle yet, so can't say much on carrying the rifle over my shoulder or using the sling while shooting, more to come.
Damn Frank that thing is sick. I'm really digging the weathered look you went for on this one. Your really did a great job. Very convincing, reminds me of the old beat up M16 the Marines issued me lol. Also really digging the music...seemingly appropriate...lol
