this is pretty good, but only glazes over a fraction of the history here in New Mexico..... I think the more interesting times in NM history is around the first Spanish settlements in the early 1500's. The native revolts are probably my favorite part of part of that history

The area around Buckhorn, NM is pretty woolly. I worked on ranches in the area all thru the 1980's. Lots of bear, elk and incorrigibles. I was told Geronimo got into quite a few gunfights in the area. Beautiful country...

Thanks for making this video. My parents lived down the road from the St. James Hotel around 1948-1950. Jim and Janie Hahn were friends of the family. They knew a lot of history about the area.
