@JakTheGamePro Google for it, especially the company, there are a lot of pseudo companys which try to get money through ads on your vids. You can report this in your video manager.

2nd, I know the "channel" thing seems like a smart table to place everyone's woes on, but most people are going to sub to the main channel because that's what they see. Unless you have a strong central hub, ANY of your sub-stations are going to be considered lackluster. Machinima exploded in a year because of their strong central hub, and they released TERRIBLE videos from their subs, especially over the course of MW2's history.
I'll put it like this. I'm a new subscriber, having joined the base about a month or two ago, probably based on the content of one commentator. Generally, I don't watch the vast majority of your videos because they're fringe games. Now this isn't really a problem, but when fringe gameplay is backed by lackluster commentary, no one's going to watch it. Open up to more games. Find better commentators. Build a better top-level staff around you. LISTEN to your viewers, new and old.

However, what WE need from our fans is to comment more on how we can IMPROVE like you did. Instead of just saying "OH, YOUR COMMENTATORS SUCK!", please let that commentator know how he's not doing a good job so he can IMPROVE. When people say "TGN IS DEAD" they mean it and you have to admit it
Momentum/"real growth" is not measured by "views per day", but more like "veiws per video per day", ofc tgn gets more views, since there are simply way more videos connected to the channel. That is not a quality mark, I think that is what the most people care about, quality over quantity.
@BanjoSense I agree 100% with you. Concentrating on quality over quantity is what we're aiming to do from here on out. New systems are being designed so more QUALITY is getting out, and not just "Hey, LOOK AT ME, I'M AWESOME!". Trust me, I feel your pain on the department of wanting quality. i ask this of tgn not just one but all directors try to put up polls to see what the ppl wanna see. categorize it like certain types of shows hengest has done certain ones that ppl like (time lapse or tactic bgs) rurikhan has done (tanking pugs or raid strats) or try something like letting the new directors start where the more experienced have left off( kinda like lvling somewhat) or poll for overall what director they wanna see doing what.

@TheStarcraft2Dude George wasn't talking bad on any other networks at all. Do you think TGN pays swifty to make us look good? Really? George even said the only checks we have paid are to livestreamers, we don't even have the money to pay Swifty, Swifty boxed us by choice, and his guild is part of TGN, I can assure you we aren't paying anyone to "make us look good" . TGN does give people views it's simple logic, you're exposing yourself to a much larger audience and making money.
Proud of you George. This man puts a tremendous amount of time and effort into TGN, is personally available for all of his producers at all hours of the day. More importantly he has provided an opportunity for many extremely talented producers that otherwise would never have had a chance. Bravo.
I got accepted into TGN Idol, even though my channel isn't very BIG or AMAZING.
But i did get accepted, which is what matters. And to be honest, I hope I can give people some good, if not the best, commentaries and gameplays possible. And thanks to TGN I might be able to get bigger!
@Paintballrulzzzzz I 100% agree with this, and TGN is working on the quality. The best advice I think people should remember is give comments out of what you really think of the video. You don't have to troll in order to critique, you just have to be honest. By being more honest, the more the quality will improve.
TGN does suck now i remeber when this first started with the og's like the towel big c hengest TTB when we all waited for an episode because we always know were waiting for a quality vid that we all loved to watch now the videos are crap people are just taking advantage of the money and make shit videos i knew this was gonna happen but whatever.
@t32fresh I get why your upset that this channel isn't like it was back when towel, big c, hengest etc were the MAIN directors of the network. However, open your eyes up to other directors then just them. You see, there are MANY directors that ARE producing quality work on this network, many of which don't get the views of the original mainly because people don't want to give them a chance. Trust me though, there are people on here putting MORE quality in then even some of the original directors
@t32fresh Well I'll put myself on the line then. Watch one of my videos here on TGN (there's about four up, the last being Dead Island) as I am a director, then PM me what you think of it. Critique me, be 100% honest with me even if that involves throwing out some really unpleasant reviews. I take all my reviews very seriously, and CONSTANTLY try to improve.
@t32fresh Unfortunately you will find some bad videos might slip through the net. Be assured that if videos are being uploaded which are not to par then action is taken. I am a new Director to TGN and I uploaded a video which had some flaws and I was politely critiqued on it and the appropriate action taken. Hopefully my example helps comfort any people who feel the quality of videos are slipping.
Thanks George!!! George has been doing more for the small editor for a long time. TGN idol has been helping people get started for quit a long time. George is probably the nicest, smartest guy in youtube today. He has been a pioneer for the small guy, and alot of things in Athene's video came from george, in fact Athene used his show in the Video...GG Gerorge!

@ThousandcutsGaming Keep at it man. I never thought it was possible but George is a GREAT boss to have and really does take care of his people. My biggest advice to making partner: Persistence. It'll not only make your videos better with quality, but it'll make yourself better in commentating. :)
TGN needs a reformation, get rid of all these shit directors and employ maybe 5-10 directors per tgn channel (e.g tgnworldofwarcraft) who make regular, proffesional and entertaining videos. These directors can get paid.

@TGN - Just letting you guys know, there's a $100 USB mic that BestBuy sells thats considered one of the best on the market (in that price range) for vocals. The Samson Studio USB Condenser is SOLID as far as quality goes, and to solve the 'popping' problem (in a twist of umm 'jimmy-rigging' lol) we just took a walmart bag and taped it around the top. Audio couldnt be clearer and we're rapping on ours.

as some already have written. tgn grew too large too quick. you put one director after another. unpersonal stuff up. i like most ideas. but its not as fun/personal as it was in the beginning. you become a mainstream like machinima. ive already written this as a comment before. but nothing has changed.. sad though cause i like some of it

You are talking about CARING, but just read through the comments: so many subscribers are unsatisfied with the "new" TGN with its thousand directors and like hundred videos uploading each day! @NUuDL121 What also needs to be realised is TGN are taking your feedback and criticsm serious and are working on it. However people just need to give it a bit of time as you can't just address every last issue in hardly any time atall.
@NUuDL121 I promise you that your comments are being read. Heck, I read them and think to myself "how can I improve based on what this individual has said". There is a system being worked out for uploads so you don't get spam all across your youtube, and what I might recommend is following our blogs for SPECIFIC directors that you like. It's a new feature that was implemented, and I highly recommend it. We also have shows to help eliminate unwanted video spam.
TGN conent sucks now, i ve been here since the start of tgn and i can say the conent now sucks.you put 10 videos a day, i honestly find 9 of them boring.
@llollnA I agree, the very FIRST directors were good and fun to watch, but now since some of the first turned into elitist bitches.. Yeah... The only tgn director i watch now is bigc, cause hes not a dickwad.

@llollnA Oh I 100% agree with you. If every commentator makes it in to TGN, then the status of "director" is watered down. However, that doesn't mean that some of us aren't trying to make a difference in TGN and are TRYING to put quality over quantity. I mean, I could easily put out 5-6 videos a week, but I choose to concentrate on quality opposed to quantity, and there are many like us here at TGN that think the same. The best way to improve directors and comment and critique.

I'd much rather have you watching videos you enjoy rather than complaining that you hate everything you see here. That being said, Shows may be the perfect thing for you. If you find a video you like, subscribe to the show and you can see videos only related to that content. TGN uploads lots of videos every day. You may not be interested in all the content and that's ok. But to say it's all bad, is bad.

@TheStarcraft2Dude George wasn't talking bad on any other networks at all. Do you think TGN pays swifty to make us look good? Really? George even said the only checks we have paid are to livestreamers, we don't even have the money to pay Swifty, Swifty boxed us by choice, and his guild is part of TGN, I can assure you we aren't paying anyone to "make us look good" . TGN does give people views it's simple logic, you're exposing yourself to a much larger audience and making money.

Proud of you George. This man puts a tremendous amount of time and effort into TGN, is personally available for all of his producers at all hours of the day. More importantly he has provided an opportunity for many extremely talented producers that otherwise would never have had a chance. Bravo.

I got accepted into TGN Idol, even though my channel isn't very BIG or AMAZING.
But i did get accepted, which is what matters. And to be honest, I hope I can give people some good, if not the best, commentaries and gameplays possible. And thanks to TGN I might be able to get bigger!

@Paintballrulzzzzz I 100% agree with this, and TGN is working on the quality. The best advice I think people should remember is give comments out of what you really think of the video. You don't have to troll in order to critique, you just have to be honest. By being more honest, the more the quality will improve.

TGN does suck now i remeber when this first started with the og's like the towel big c hengest TTB when we all waited for an episode because we always know were waiting for a quality vid that we all loved to watch now the videos are crap people are just taking advantage of the money and make shit videos i knew this was gonna happen but whatever.

@t32fresh I get why your upset that this channel isn't like it was back when towel, big c, hengest etc were the MAIN directors of the network. However, open your eyes up to other directors then just them. You see, there are MANY directors that ARE producing quality work on this network, many of which don't get the views of the original mainly because people don't want to give them a chance. Trust me though, there are people on here putting MORE quality in then even some of the original directors

@t32fresh Well I'll put myself on the line then. Watch one of my videos here on TGN (there's about four up, the last being Dead Island) as I am a director, then PM me what you think of it. Critique me, be 100% honest with me even if that involves throwing out some really unpleasant reviews. I take all my reviews very seriously, and CONSTANTLY try to improve.

@t32fresh Unfortunately you will find some bad videos might slip through the net. Be assured that if videos are being uploaded which are not to par then action is taken. I am a new Director to TGN and I uploaded a video which had some flaws and I was politely critiqued on it and the appropriate action taken. Hopefully my example helps comfort any people who feel the quality of videos are slipping.

Thanks George!!! George has been doing more for the small editor for a long time. TGN idol has been helping people get started for quit a long time. George is probably the nicest, smartest guy in youtube today. He has been a pioneer for the small guy, and alot of things in Athene's video came from george, in fact Athene used his show in the Video...GG Gerorge!

@ThousandcutsGaming Keep at it man. I never thought it was possible but George is a GREAT boss to have and really does take care of his people. My biggest advice to making partner: Persistence. It'll not only make your videos better with quality, but it'll make yourself better in commentating. :)

TGN needs a reformation, get rid of all these shit directors and employ maybe 5-10 directors per tgn channel (e.g tgnworldofwarcraft) who make regular, proffesional and entertaining videos. These directors can get paid.

@TGN - Just letting you guys know, there's a $100 USB mic that BestBuy sells thats considered one of the best on the market (in that price range) for vocals. The Samson Studio USB Condenser is SOLID as far as quality goes, and to solve the 'popping' problem (in a twist of umm 'jimmy-rigging' lol) we just took a walmart bag and taped it around the top. Audio couldnt be clearer and we're rapping on ours.

as some already have written. tgn grew too large too quick. you put one director after another. unpersonal stuff up. i like most ideas. but its not as fun/personal as it was in the beginning. you become a mainstream like machinima. ive already written this as a comment before. but nothing has changed.. sad though cause i like some of it

@NUuDL121 We are pioneering a New YouTube based on Shows, not Channels! TGN has 200 Shows, that's like 200 channels. Subscribe to the Shows you are interested in and you will only see the Directors you want to :)

@NUuDL121 I promise you that your comments are being read. Heck, I read them and think to myself "how can I improve based on what this individual has said". There is a system being worked out for uploads so you don't get spam all across your youtube, and what I might recommend is following our blogs for SPECIFIC directors that you like. It's a new feature that was implemented, and I highly recommend it. We also have shows to help eliminate unwanted video spam.

@llollnA Oh I 100% agree with you. If every commentator makes it in to TGN, then the status of "director" is watered down. However, that doesn't mean that some of us aren't trying to make a difference in TGN and are TRYING to put quality over quantity. I mean, I could easily put out 5-6 videos a week, but I choose to concentrate on quality opposed to quantity, and there are many like us here at TGN that think the same. The best way to improve directors and comment and critique.

@llollnA This is in no way reflecting TGN's opinion. If you don't like what you see, gtfo. I'd much rather have you watching videos you enjoy rather than complaining that you hate everything you see here. That being said, Shows may be the perfect thing for you. If you find a video you like, subscribe to the show and you can see videos only related to that content. TGN uploads lots of videos every day. You may not be interested in all the content and that's ok. But to say it's all bad, is bad.
