I get 40mpg and the worst I've had to deal with in 120,000 miles is a stuck brake caliper. Changing oil, coolant, filters, tranny fluid, spark plugs, plug wires, and coils, are 5 minute jobs. There's a wealth of information online about my car and parts are incredibly cheap. Guess what kind of car I drive.

I personally love my Saturn SL2 and My Subaru impreza...Though i prefer my Saturn due to better gas mileage and i really can't say anything bad about it... I used to have a ford Focus 2003 model and that car was a piece of shit... Hit a guard rail going 45 and was totaled... Engine would not start or anything (even had to pry the trunk open to get my belongings out)...
