I would say innovating rather than inventing. "Park" riding has been going on ever since street started up, just not this big, fast, or cool.

I'm gonna need to disagree although "park riding" has been around for a while most "park rinding" is really just street or trials. I think Wheelol Is the first successful vert unicyclist.

Well if you define successful as being able to do 180s, drop-ins, riding along the sides of a bowl, and a few types of transfers, then I guess he is a vertical unicyclist.
