the road between lake isabella and bakersfield that goes through the mountain and follows kern river has a stretch that is tight like that. google map doesn't make it appear to be like that, but i've driven it, and when you have a gas truck on your ass and you're coming down that mountain, you'd be surprised what you deal with.
