Shark=fish.  Whale=mammal. Fish get their oxygen from the water with gills. Whales do not have gills, and have to come up for air. It's referred to as a WHALE shark perhaps because of its size and whale-like diet.

"Primate" is a fairly large order which includes monkeys, tarsiers, apes, and a few others. Within the primate order, the "ape" superfamily includes 2 families, lesser apes and great apes. The great ape family include chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, and humans. So yeah we're primates, just as much as we're vertibrates, mammals, and part of the animal kingdom. :p

Yeah, I know, some people are insulted by specific classification, however we're classified as apes & primates for the same reasons we're classified as mammals, vertibrates,and part of the animal kingdom, which for some reason I've never heard an objection to.
