If you claim Pollard did such terrible things and deserves what he got (or even worse), then charge him with those crimes (like I said above, the Grand Jury threw out treason and endangering the security of the US). The crime he was charged with and pled to has do resemblance to any of the stuff you accuse him of.
I'm no expert on criminal law, but I do know that you can't charge a man with crime A and then punish him for crime B.

According to the US Court of Appeals, Pollard received between $1500 and $2500 a month for about twelve months. That comes to an average of $2K per month for a grand total of about $48K. That does not sound like he did it for the money. (Maybe to you it's a fortune, but not to most non-hillbilly folk).

Right before his sentencing hearing, the judge received an ex-parte memo from Casper Weinberger. At sentencing, the judge allowed Pollard's lawyer to see a tiny portion of the memo. Till this day, Pollard and his lawyers have still never laid eyes on that memo.
