Ice Storm is a mages friend when it comes to Nord ruins and Draugr burial cairns. While being useful, not that practical against Draugr anyway, but it's still useful if you have Augmented Frost perks. Chain Lightning has better lulz factor though.

@HalfTimesTwo It took pretty much time to make these videos ya, especially this one, because i had to record scenes with villagers many times until i was satisfied. They were moving, free camera mode shifts your crosshair randomly, fps lags when spell hit them or they simply refused to die the way i wanted them to. :D

its so frustrating. I'm level 56 in destruction and I cant buy any of these adept destruction spells where ever i go. Ive been to the guy in dragonsreach and the destrcution woman in winterhold and both of them only have apprentice spells for offer no adept. Please help me how do i get adept spells.??

@budbudbadaf Join the College of Winterhold. Those merchants only sell low level spells, you have to be in the college to get higher ones.

The ice storm spell is so strong. I mean I play on expert and most enemies die with only 1 or 2 shots. But bad things to happen when an enemy has that spell :< mostly a 1 hit kill on me....

Oh that's cool, I'm new to the series and getting my copy of Skyrim on monday :D And I'm thinking about being a dark elf, because i like mages and being resistant to fire (against dragons for example) :D Do you think that would be ideal? :)

@MrHlolli 50% resist fire is great. Bretons have 25% all resists, that's great too. Dragons are either fire or frost. It's your choice, nothing game-breaking really, but most universal is obviously 25% all resist.

Im trying to decide whether i should make a mage or warrior..mages get awsome spells and kill everything, but warriors get the best looking gear so tough choice for me..great video btw

@Mystrym Thanks. As said in other video: "I play kind of battlemage on Expert difficulty. Using One-hand weapon in combination with spells while wearing Cloth/Light Armor. It is playable without problem mostly."

So basically, i use mostly spells and if i run out of magicka i use sword to finish the work.

@Mystrym the most enchantments you see on robes can also be used on light/heavy armor so if you get to the point that your enchanting skill is high you can enchant armour to even be better than most robes

And honestly i don't care and neither should you. New spells are always way too magicka-expensive than previous ones, and if you don't have your skill/lvl high enough, you wouldn't use them properly anyway.

My guess is, they appear in store once you reach certain skill. (For example 25-Apprentice, 50-Adept, 75-Expert...).
