instant noodles, thats easy, try road kill fox!, My friend Steve came across a road killed fox and he gutted it and ate it, I know this after he told me because he kept it's tail as a chair pillow in his little mountainside cabin with no power.
someone once said to me if a person is homeless it is completely their fault and I responded "Homeless can happen to anyone at anytime you can have a full time job and even a hefty savings then bad things can happen, you can get sick, get laid off or fired from your job, divorce and loose the house, their are thousands of things that can happen that can put even the morst discerning people in that position"
I meant "keep up vids" and don't give up hope!! Backpacking food, MRE's, sterno stove-with canned food, convenience stores for hot water and ice for cooler-Filled up 64oz cup 3 times per visit to fill cooler with ice. Got cheaper refills on other drinks-Kept one good cup from each fast food places to get free refills.. Used local library computer as I didn't have one for two hours a day and printed coupons on all local 2 for 1's restaurant/fast food deals, good supermarket deals, etc,.
Keep it up brother!! what led to your being homeless..? Can you live with your mom in TX? Do you work or have a job? I ask because I was homeless with a decent some years ago-Couldn't afford rent and child support so I lived out my car and a storage unit. I lived in the deserts of the SW USA and camped off of dirt roads, hung my hammock between tall cactus or desert juniper when I could. Had a P.O. box and showered at the YMCA for $34. a month year around. Now, I've got a nice place.
