i woud suspect this would be ilegal, it is her in the uk, as you are not allowed any flashing red or blue or green lights in the car whilst in motion, i supose you could argue you were stopping lol, but all the sae i think it would bug some drivers at night mostly
ya boss, thats so damn illegal its not even funny, not as bad as my car though...check out my page, look at the light system i have, NOW THATS ILLEGAL! lol
@llangfird well i have never gotten bothered for it. i have it on my corolla with led tail lights now so its faster and brighter and I've been pulled over twice and they have never said anything about my break lights. its a safety feature :)
@TheZ32Kid one relate and one flash module. you just cut the wire going off the break switch and put flasher module in there. then when you tap the breaks the wire from the break switch tells the flasher to flash which flashes the relay that is hooked to the wire going to your break lights
Thats cool, I think it is probably legal , its like what the new ambulances is.
Itd be cool to get some drop in led bulbs from ebay too and see what happens. Since they turn on and off faster, and use less power the effect might be more dramatic
@DrEwBaBy625 where i live cops r strick as shit.. probably get pulled over for broken brake light... if you pump your brakes real fast all 3 brakes would flash.. just the 3rd brake light looks like something fucked up
@DrEwBaBy625 I have one of these as well, but only on the 3rd brake light since they're LED's on my Accord. I've asked a local cop friend about it, and though they are illegal in florida he said he would never nor would anyone he knows pull me over for something that minor that is just trying to prevent accidents and keep people safe. Plus almost all the bikes down here in Orlando have them too.
@DDT112 No it's not, superbrightleds sells the modules for 3rd brake lights, similar to the factory set up for Lincolns. they strobe for a moment then stop. Do your research before you leave comments. Back off modules are DOT approved.

as long as they are not blue you' re ok in florida

It's not illegal. Ambulances, Fire engines and motorcycles use this. It keeps you from rear ending them. Think before you comment.

Did you buy one relay and splice to all your lights or you had to get separate relays for each bulb
