@NedSCUBAyah Yes but they are representing their country so I think it's the best when they speak their native language. In Riyo's case, she speaks English but she used Japanese because she was representing JAPAN.

I am Brazilian and I was disappointed with the result because this day was the FACT that Miss Brazil was the best of the night and did not take the crown. And I know that the critics know deep down that Miss Brazil was the most beautiful of this contest!

Still love the Japanese and in 2006 who was to take the crown was the 2007 Japan and Brazil!
