  • why do people think the USA military is protecting USA citizens rights? thats so naive. If people knew the bs that our government is up to, they wouldnt be talking about "freedom". get into reality everyone.

  • people forget about 9/11 they were just trying to stop something like that from happining ever again.

  • your civic duty is to support the men and women who are protecting your right to be a jackass

  • They don't have names and badges because they are Blackwater employees!

Fascists do not allow dissent. They will beat innocent women and children and even shoot them when the law allows!

Our laws are being rewritten and our Bill of Rights has been suspended.

Fascism is in America and it is the democrat and republican parties! People think Obama is somehow different?

    Vote Nader/Gonzalez!

  • Ron Paul was listening but the media censored him.

  • You don't like the LAWS that govern the distance, then change the laws. That means to elect different officials to appoint different justices. The police are only enforcing the laws, they didn't make them. Also, since when are many police officers in one area a show of violence.

  • Did they ask for a name and badge number? My husband's name is on all his uniforms. Also, what are they not allowed to do? Seems to me that people are protesting all over and as long as they have the proper permits or are acting responsibly, they are allowed to say and do whatever they wish. If Denver were a police state, the protesters would have had their teeth smashed in or their skulls cracked just for opening their mouths.

  • They did ask, and there are no badge numbers on the crowd control uniforms.

They are not being allowed to assemble in front of the DNC buildings. Instead they are being carted and pushed off to areas that are too far away to matter. The first amendment does not say, "the right to assemble peacefully half a mile away".

I understand that you're also concerned for your husband's safety, and that he's just trying to protect the peace. However, a large police force is a form of violence itself.
