Do you have any more info on "Pete Whalla's Speed controller"? You are powering both of those pololu motors with it? ir is there a separate one for each? Also, what is the gear ratio on those "slow" motors?
@CamdenWallraff peter waller's speed controlers are made by a man named peter who competes in the ants, (he drove combatant on robotwars extreme) they can handle 1 motor per side and are normaly built on to recivers. the slow motors are 100:1

However the guys at RobotWarsAustralia (RoboWars) might be able to help you, they have a good forum and will have local stores where you can get stuff.
