lol there is like no damage scaling with this guy lol you can do any combo in the book and the combo dmg will keep going up lol

his only weakness is the fact that his walking speed his horrendous and he has like the slowest dash in the game especially his backwards dash lol its just him taking two steps back

Everything is pretty much set up for noobs. They'll think they're pros because they'll play him, and they'll never learn anything else.

It's like giving a kid a gun (Sagat). They already know how to use it. But give a kid a knife (someone else, example, Abel) and he will be a goner.

I know and its pisses me off that I cant pull it off. I'm great in fighting games and I started using sagat since everybody be sucking ryu,ken, akuma, and gouken's dick half the time. I go combo crazy but that sequence...I cant pull it off. I have to spend time in the hyperbolic time chamber for awhile.

It's called the FADC: Focus Attack Dash Cancel.

Basically you cancel the Tiger uppercut with a Focus attack the very second you hit the TU, then cancel the Focus attack by dashing either forward or backward

Every since I used Sagat, I've never lost online. I don't even do link combos, since they're too strict. Ken's close MK to low MK is easy, but the rest is strict as hell.

If you use sagat and haven't lost and don't link combos you haven't been playing anybody remotly good My gamertag is b0kkin I main akuma and I'll be more than happy to hand you a loss. Sagat's online spam fireball and uppercut and wakeup ultras so I love playing against them with someone with half their life and only recieving chip from them.

Every time I try to do the tiger punch focus dash cancel into roundhouse, my focus dash ends up putting me on the other side of the opponent so I can't get the roundhouse off. Any suggestions on how I can get that off easier? Thanks.

Sagat has always been the best in every game he's been in. Even in ST where Akuma first came out he could stand against him on an even keel.  It's just annoying to most people to have a character that's that good. I know I for one wouldn't want to see SF4 turn into MvC2 where everyone uses 5 different characters out of a choice of fifty.

nah, with a ps3 controller you can start the motion with back on the stick and then rotate counterclockwise and hit the button as u get to up and you perform the move without jumping.. : )

Especially in Championship Mode....G2 tourneys especially are comprised mostly of Ryus from what i see, its not uncommon that I go through the entire tourney fighting only Ryus every match, LOL. its crazy...
