  • All you need is a portable power socket!

  • We're do you buy the rubber tack switch

  • Is it hard to make?

  • So, do you think commissions can start again sometime? It has been about nine months.

  • muy muy bueno pero le faltan los botones L y R

en mortal kombat no me podria cubrir. pero muy muy bueno esta el snes portable

  • Mega Man X kicks 20,000 leagues of ass.

  • When are you gonna post a new version

  • Forgot to ask, joedogg86... I noticed you have some Super Famicom carts lying around your work bench. Will your SNESp play those? If not, any plans on making the SNESp SFC compatible? It's easy to convert the SNES to play SFC games and there's no technical know-how required in doing so, but, given the shape of your cart bay on the SNESp, I was wondering if the SFC carts would work as well?

  • Awesome work, man. I really dig the new style (#3 was great as well!). I've subscribed to you so I can get updates every time you upload something. I really dig the acrylic sides. It kinda sets off the rest of the design, IMO. Very nice touch indeed.

So, have you been selling them? I hope so and I hope you've been getting a decent price for them because your work is exceptional. You've got a real talent there and deserve to be rewarded for it. I look forward to your next project!

  • im definately interested when you'll have others made...i will def. buy.lol. you should make a website or somthing cool...

  • u shood make one dats all clear dat wood b cool

  • Hey what about the brightness i saw one that had brightness control. what if i am in a dark place or some sunny place.

  • You guys ever heard of dingoo, I have one, I play nes/snes/gba/gbc/Neo Geo/Mame/TG16/Scumm perfect speeds minimal games are not compatible and I bought it for 80 bucks.

  • @mackjeez Cool story, bro.

  • @mackjeez

yes an emulador, but with this you play the games from the epic catidrage

  • @joserics

Well no but you can go on ebay and get a snes portable system (FC 16) for like $60 and its better built then this, its also lighter, has a nice screen, tv out, you can hook up wireless controllers and uses regular cartridges. P.S I own one.

  • @mackjeez

Other than the fact that F16 is junk, you're missing the point. joedog's SNESp is a hand-crafted system, not some production line, flimsy piece of junk. Were in the market for SNESp, I'd rather pay $400 for portable I knew had care given to each individual unit rather than a $60, 3hr battery life unit that will break if you fart in it's direction & will likely break dwn within the first few months (like mine did). joedogg's SNES > than F16 plus it's collectible for gaming enthusiasts

  • @Shinerbock88

The real FC 16 is definitely not junk, there are replica's selling on ebay that are flimsy in build quality using the same name. You have to do a bit of research before you know what you're getting. Battery life is about 6-7 hours and the system itself is solid, so I really don't know what you purchased.

  • @mackjeez Oh yeah, I love customizing and building my own Dingoos!

  • You don't plan on stopping commissions any time soon do you? I'm interested in getting one of these but it may take me a month or 2 to save up.

  • How much would it cost to buy that?

    I am REALLY interested! :D

  • do you people not understand the man hours necessary? this is a novelty item for those retro fans who want a quality "hand made" mostly .. hand held system for the ultimate collector..if u into tis so of thing lots of portablizers make a name for themselves you can own a 1 of a kind handheld made by one o the greats in this nich of video game history, much better then chinese ripoffs or the mass produced crap its ONE OF A KIND!

  • 400$ ???

  • $400. JEEZE . the new 3DS will cost less than that!

  • @MrSkeen98

It's homemade, you'd charge that too.

  • its called a DS

  • No its a Super Nintendo Portable Are you retarded? :P

Plus the emulators suck on the DS and a n64p is much better but a snes is cool too.

  • @JeremyPettis09 is that ur excuse ITS COOL. what a failure you are. SNES are not cool and besides your .... thing there looks like crap. People save your money and get the 3ds

  • @MrSkeen98 yes People Save Your Money And buy th 3ds Get dissapointed then wish you had a N64p

Hey MrSkeen Where's Your N64p That you built.......OHHHH thats right Your the Failure YOU SUCK THIS IS AWESOME AND PEOPLE SHOULD GET IT!

    l buttons ,where they are?

  • you prob should have use the original button connectors, its gotta feel different then the epicly perfect snes controller, other then that great vid

  • @BRGxRandomHero Trust me - it feels exactly like the original controller :D

  • Would you post to the UK? Also how easy would it be convert the PSU to a 3 pin UK plug?

  • @28steryan You can use a transformer which basically converts the voltage and shape of the adapter to us it in a uk mains port.

  • 400 for this!? This is great and all how you've made it, 400 is pretty steep in my opinion.

  • That's probably the most comfortable portable I have ever seen.

  • You sir are a genius. :) I'm glad you got this up on youtube finally.

  • How did u make the Portable Super Nintendo? Sprayed it using a template or did u actually paint it urself?

  • @helldrag0n47 The lettering is actually engraved in the plastic

  • @joedog86

    Ah i see.

That is still tottally awesome! U should hire more people to mass produce this! Uh, 1 question. Will nintendo sue u? Cause ur using their name for profit as well as thier games.
