  • mine fully spedd up has 52 dgrees :)) living in cyprus btw verry hot here:)

  • Just curious, what case do you have?

  • why would u have a water pump and shit loads of hoses inside your pc yet have an aircooled vga ? that just doesnt make any sense

  • @otamtotamtam the water cooling came about 3 months before the video card was installed, this was shot on the first day i had the card, makes sense to you yet?

  • Damn I never knew that the fan on that card was so effective. Took about 15 seconds at 100% to drop 5c...nice.

  • my ATI 4670 idles at 25 degrees and at load, 52 degrees

  • damn my 5770 vapor x is quieter than this lol

  • its not so loud because my friend has a 8800gt. If this card goes to 100% fan. I cant listen music with headset loud.

  • Hi, would you mind telling me if stock cooler works as a intake or as an outlet? Will the heat be directed out of the case or into the case?

  • @UltimaRune video card fan brings air in to cool, exhausts out of the back

  • Ok. Thanks. Got myself the card and for people who're saying that CM Extreme Power Plus 650W can't support it....It can as I've tried it...

  • @UltimaRune A corsair 600W does the job just fine too...

  • from my perspective, the design of 8800 gts/gtx G80 was the best, even at full speed, the fan wasn't that loud. now I have a sapphire 4890 and at full speed ....hell it sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

  • @JokerArmy1 not at all it doesnt actually ever get up to 100% in a game

  • so how much % in-game?

  • as long as you dont overclock or anything the noise is not a problem : )

  • Hmm well the XFX Black edition is overclocked so.. :p?

  • @JokerArmy1 even when it is overclocked its not really a problem because you would never hear it over the game sounds anyway

  • Ah ok :). well my choice will fall on the XFX black edition or the Sapphire toxic edition ;)

  • wow nice RIG, I like the watercooling color. Yes the video card run loud when you increase the fan speed but I love it. You can check out my vid on my profile of my new i5 750 gaming pc

  • still waiting to CF this hoho!

  • wow those are some fat tubes :D

  • fat tubes are awesome

  • Yup 12mm FTW

  • why is the gpu and the memory clock decreases to very low values when u higher the fan speed !!! :S

  • it has nothing to do with the fan speed, its power saving

  • oh i see..

  • Awesome watercooling but if I were u i would not spend som much on watercooling and get another 5850, or do both like me :)

  • is it me or is the the hum of the hdd's and water cooling system louder than the fan coz i cant hear it ??

  • the microphone is not the best on this camera, in person u can tell the difference when it gets past 30%, it's easy to differentiate the rest of the computer from the gpu

  • dude i've got 2 Giga 5050's and another 9 fans PLUS a water cooling pump running in my PC and its quieter than that

  • no, the GPU is really quiet on idle, and the pump has a specific whining to it which is not present in this vid.

  • np, i was surprised how loud this thing can get

  • I'm waiting for a decent 3rd party cooler to come out. I've got my old 4850 with a Scythe Musashi clocked at 700 / 1200. It's the most i can get out of it and it works perfectly.

  • thanks for the upload... heard many complaints about the fan noise of this graphic card... and you solved it for me... :)
