Thanks for posting, it`s funny how little things in your life make a mark forever. Every time I hear this song it takes me back to the early 60s when I was 6 or 7 years old, we would take a school outing to Ainsdale beach only a dozen or so miles away and the teachers would have us singing this song on the bus at the top of our voices...happy days.
You have played very well. For octave technique, block middle part with your tungue except right and left edges so that you are making two sounds, one is melody and other is one octave lower tone making bass accompanyment.
And mix this technique and tunguing techniques. Hope it helps you.
The most important thing is having fun with music. Try to focus more music note, tempo and expression!!! They are more important than playing technique itself.
