Leo Bossy?! Must be in some context where I don't see my husband, lol! Me - Scorpio rising, Cap Sun/Moon/Mercury. No one bosses me around! I don't know if hub's Aqua moon could in part explain his suspicion towards anything that can't be proven with hard science but he knows not to argue directly with me and just go deaf on "off subjects".
I thought appearance was influenced by your Ascendant. My husband has a Leo Sun and he shuts down if I talk about astrology. If I tell him there are Leo Suns who get into heated debates about astrology, he sends me a wide eyed "incredible" look for lack of better wording. Hub - Sag Asc., Leo Sun, Aqua Moon.
Hi @andromr1969 What about them? The trans-Saturn planets are more for global expression, THE FINANCIAL, WEATHER and ICONS who declare generations changes like pop stars, heads of large corporations etc. For our personal use the trans-Saturn planets are too much. . . like bar-b-quing at a volcano for Pluto or flying a kite in a tornado for Uranus or surfing a Tsunami for Neptune. . .too much power for us people who are not in the biz of generating large scale movements.
wow its so crazy its like now that you told me your a Leo u actually look like one iv been studying a lot on astrology recently it amazes me and i'm a sag .
Hi @thenomskiee Sagittarius is the symbol of unlimited resources, a lot depends on where Jupiter is in the sky when you were born, it's context to your rising sign, the condition it is in under the domicile of the sign it is located. How it is connected with your progressed planets, Profection Year and Firdaria and Solar Return. Then there are aspects and the accidental dignity related to each position of the planets related to Sagittarius, not just the sun-sign location. Thanks for posting
@chadow723 wow its so crazy its like now that you told me your a Leo u actually look like one iv been studying a lot on astrology recently it amazes me and i'm a sag .
Hi @Aphrodizzle YES, There are three zodiacs. One for astronomers, one for Hindu Sidereal astrologers and a tropical zodiac for the seasonal disposition of the planets.
@EternalKing18 Pluto is symbolic of modern astrology. . . Mars is still intense as that when in a position to do so. After all, doesn't a warrior in Mar-tial arts have the capability to kill ?
Not in traditional astrology. For me, it doesn't make sense to have such a disruptive planet rule a' fixed air' sign. So I use Saturn. . . .Neptune and Pluto is also left out as well. . . unles conjoined with a planet, then I use them as a fixed star signature.
I've always had a problem with 12 signs and 10 "planets". IE: Venus has always been accurate as a ruler for Libra but I never get as good of results with Taurus. Reminds me of Saturn co-ruling Aquarius. Aquarius never quite came out right either, then we discovered Uranus and fixed that. Lately I have been doing some experimenting, using Chiron as a ruler for Virgo and Earth (opposite sun + aspects to earth) as a ruler for Taurus. I've seen some stunning results. Any thoughts to offer on this?
So true about Leo my mom is a Leo, lol I love her.she always has been the boss. the little time my parents were together (5 yrs) its was crazy father is a scorpio mom is a leo too much bumpin heads& confrontation im an aries i was always in the middle of all that head bumpin,
and thank you that clears up my confusion a little better about Mars ruling either aries or scorpio.
well, Pluto represents INTENSITY so Venus would be a good opposite as it represents laziness and languidly. but, then again, Pluto is a more modern, psychological representation.
I have a question. In a few videos now you've referred to Jupiter/Pisces as lazy and slothful. I have a ton of Pisces energy, and few would call me lazy or slothful. Can you explain more about your thoughts on Jupiter/Pisces? Right now it feels as though astrologically I am a slug! Thanks for your insights..
Hi Whimsical. . . in the pure form, any situation can and will be altered. In your case, perhaps that laziness in an awareness to not follow that path but to work in the opposite extreme. Doesn't ice reference heat in some fashion?
In my opinion Pluto will always be a planet to me. As a Scorpio I feel that I am governed by both Mars and Pluto since Mars could represent the increased sexual drive that Scorpios are suppose to have. At the same time Pluto could represent our more secretive and dare I say colder side.
MAsterREB, Well, we all have our opinions. In the traditional sense (what I do), the outer planets disturb the natural balance however, I DO use the outer planets as fixed stars. If planets conjoin the outers, they are worth consideration. Otherwise, the outer planets reflect worldly situations rather than personal circumstances. Far too much power for a mere human to handle, using Uranus would be like fling a kite in a tornado.
yeah I agree, even if science doesn't consider Pluto a planet anymore, it still has influence in your chart. I have Pluto in the 10th house in Scorpio and I am frequently dragged into confrontations with society, that's because I would like to change the way it is now but I mostly end up being knocked down.
Hi MasterREB, well, the word 'opinion' makes your statement an operational term. One cannot offer anything otherwise. Actually in my experience, Scorpio is not all that sexual, , ,rather more discrete and very selective.
You realise that Pluto can take 15+ years to travel through a sign? If Pluto being in Scorpio makes someone perverted, then everyone born from 1983 to 1995 will be perverted.
Yes, i totally agree, 1 of my best friends & father is a scorpio, their not as sexual as society and media turn them out to be. i been very interested in sex my whole life and promiscious at times (not that im proud of that) and i see them less interested in sex or maybe they both are very discrete and low key about it.
Do you realise that being a Sun-sign Scorpio means very little in regards to your whole natal chart? It is erroneous to identify yourself with one planet's position without taking into account it's dignities and position in the sky at the moment of your birth.
Besides, Mars does not rule sexual energy, Venus does. Mars rules quarrels, strife and contentions. Well-placed he makes people courageous, competitive and valiant. Badly placed he makes people dishonest, combative and oppressive.
Well -- I thought the whole 'day-time, night-time' explination of constellations that share planets was interesting. I think you were off, though, at least off the topic. Scorpio, ruled by Mars AND Pluto--Pluto isn't a planet. So what about Scorpio?
There is a connection but the connestion is like a marriage, one masculine (Daytime)and the other feminine (Nightime) Scorpio Mars is more dynamic, eye to the future, Aries Mars is more self-absorbed its demands want to be met "now".
Well, concerning Zent, it's easy: he accuses others of evading questions (which they don't) and then proceeds to blatently evade MY question to HIM. It was quite satisfying to point this out so clearly! But that aside, I am not here on Zent's account (I have no interest in him, other than to kick his ass when he makes dumb remarks towards me). No - I turned up here to talk astrology with Chadow. I guess you did the same, yes? :)
Hi Gabbie, you are just frusterated and you have strong opinions. I know your views on Astrology, that is your opinion, but I find it unfair for you to trash something that others believe in Just because you disagree. Maybe Zent does not WANT to talk to you because you ARE unreasonable.
There is nothing I have said on this subject that is unreasonable. What IS unreasonable is making the claim that astrology is valid, without evidence to support the claim, and without being able to answer fundamental and simple questions about it. If there really WAS evidence to support the claim, any astrologer would be able to demonstrate this, and thereby win the various challenges that exist (including James Randi's) to show just that. No-one has yet done so.
Thanks for the support, Y2K, and I like your description of Zent! I answered his questions, then I gave him the opportunity to simply say "I don't know" in answer to my question, and he couldn't even bring himself to do that! Got the typical evasive response we expected instead, of course. He can't answer the question, and he knows it, so he gives us evasion instead. Like I said: QED. :)
Yes Gabbie, so what, maybe it's just an additude problem you have. I read your posts and I see you are frusterated, let it go and be happy. That is up to Zent to do what he wants to do, but you can't dictate him. Be happy and move on
I agree. I don't care about him personally (whoever he is). However, in a public forum, in which I was having a reasonable exchange with the poster of this video, Zent piped up (uninvited) and accused me of evading his questions - something I have NEVER done. Because he lied in this way, I have called him on it, and exposed HIM as the evasive one. The lesson for him is: don't post false statements on this forum and expect no-one to challenge you.
My description of Zent has nothing to do with your judgment of him. I find you to be rude, but that is just you. This is an observational study of concluding to what the Skeptical mind really does have limitations This is all what your all about here
Loving your videos. Very practical down-to-earth way of looking at astrology. I have passed on your videos for one of my Learners to watch as it's really nice to have different perspectives about the same subject. Thanks!! :)
I look forward to your videos and learning more. I know NOTHING about receptions. :) All of my astrology education is through books so it's really neat to "listen and see" from an accomplished astrologer. Keep up the great work. Cheers!! p.s. When I read your responses to the diskeptics it's exactly as I would say it. *interesting*
Oh and to be more clear: My astrology education includes working with "real people" and gaining more and more knowledge and I work with astrology -- lots of fun, knowledge that is! :)
Yes, abella, People are the key, not numbers, not distasteful sentences oozing from a lack o any knowledge. As far as I can see, many who write with an attitude here can only come up with the same "quoted question" repeatedly. .. I leave most of them up because I believe itgives a budding astrologer a tatse of what to expect fron the narrow saide of life.
I asked a question to you and it didn't get answered. So what! :) I just have to go and figure it out myself or question it with someone else if it comes up again. *shrugs* No big deal. Also none of us are perfect and our theories may have flaws but diskeptics do not make it safe to *explore* those flaws because they paint the canvas with one brush. One flaw, everything flawed. That argument is flawed!! :)
Good point. ask again as I probably lost it in the mix of the many videos and thought perhaps I had done so. My apologies. Yes, the "Flaw in the ointment" seems to despoil the entire structure with many who write. But, that's because of "numerated reduction."
One wrong digit or decimal presents a false answer.
Hi zent, the big problem is the word "paranormal" as astrology doesn't fall into this category, so one cannot possibly make any statement or contest his "challenge"
Well one of my values is being "people-focused" so I won't argue that. haha I LOVE numbers too but in an organic non-statistical way. And right, the same question. Maybe you don't want to answer that question for that and other reasons, as I said before: Why does that make you a fraud? It doesn't.
My being "a fraud" may stem from the idea that metaphor cannot register with the dissident writers as a response. I truly believe that The American public is terrified that there may be a system that profiles them. This may the the basics for such sub-conscious, reactive responses. Most responses are guttural and salted with curses. . . as such they suggest fear. Although, when we think of it, astrology IS far out. . . look at a Horary chart. . . that in and of itself is truly amazing!!
Hi chad, good point here. Yes, I've thought of this too. Did ya happen to see the "astrology and prejudice" vid here? :P Looks like someone was insecure about it....I look at it like a learning experience. (:
Welcome, abella (: good to see you. I agree with alot of what you've written here. It seems we have similar outlooks, and gift (: It is always about the experience. You study people to learn, sometimes it's just as simple as that. Books allow the view to spread outward and glean other insight from those with more experience in different ways.
One week has now passed since I asked Zent the question. He has not yet answered it. For all his previous shouting and squealing about what he calls the "question-dodging" of skeptics (of which there is, of course, actually none), his own current deathly silence, when asked a simple question about astrology, speaks volumes.
Have you ever thought: Maybe they couldn't care less to answer your question? OR Why are they obliged to? The id like nonsense of diskeptics is disturbing. The more I read diskeptic comments, the more I realize that you all think we should feed you because you can't feed yourself. That isn't your job as much as you would like to COMMAND and DEMAND otherwise.
Hi Abella, Yes, this is a great post, filled with insight. Mostly, I believe it's all about the "what can you do for me" attitude. No real understanding, but like parrots just snipe at those who have more strength than they themselves, the skeptics have.
It bothers me that they truly don't know anything about that which they dispute. But it disturbs me when they start insulting and defaming our profession and character while being ignorant about what it is that we do. Part of me is okay with the ignorance and part of me isn't. :)
The ignorance comes from hearing someone with whom the insultor has held in high esteem at some earlier time. As with most people who write on these sites, many are hiding with their pseudonym and find a place to just become insulting . .. "Lord Of The Flies" comes to mind when I read some of these. . .
Gabble, you've actually been talking to yourself here, in more than one way. Never got your responses in my mail and I think it's funny that you've been trying to reconfirm your ego here all by your lonesome. What makes you think you deserve me doing your research for you after you've been insulting and a liar to go with it?
Interesting, isn't it? Zent accuses me of dodging questions. So I answer his two questions directly, and then ask him a question. We are still waiting for his answer four days later...
To repeat my question for you, Zent: "What, and how much, *objective recorded evidence* exists (that you have seen) that shows that astrology makes accurate predictions/statements about future/present events based on its system of interpreting symbols, planetary configurations, charts and the like? If such evidence exists, what conclusions do you draw from it about the accuracy of astrology?"
Hi chad, appreciate the symbolic insight (: About the only thing about your associations I questioned was the aries/nightime sign and scorpio/daytime. I have a hard time seeing that, as the aries is always a morning hustle and bustle, bright, full of energy, against the scorpio which is dark, deep, reserved and secretive, like the night...(:
Zent - you say in another of Chad's videos that I "keep avoiding the questions". What questions?!!! Go on - take a look: you won't find any except for one or two that I have already answered. Ask me whatever you like on this subject and I will reply. Go ahead - DO IT NOW. I will not duck and swerve like you! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO ASK ME BEFORE CHAD DISABLES ALL COMMENTS ON ALL HIS VIDEOS!!! :)
The fact is, you have no sensible questions to ask. Not only that, but you CANNOT (are unable to) answer properly the questions I have put to you and Chad on the subject repeatedly in Chad's videos. You cannot deny this fact, so stop trying to. One of the questions I have asked you repeatedly is to provide a proper reasoned argument as to why you think astrology is valid and the objective recorded evidence you have for that. You repeatedly duck this question, which is hardly surprising!
I'm not denying anything. In fact, I find it ironic that you keep dodging posts wherein I asked you solid existential questions, along with those of experience and you go to a different vid, claiming I dodge you. You have repeatedly claimed astrology is so wrong, but you have not told me once why the methods are flawed according to the queries I have presented. You are the weak one here. Give it up.
Bollocks, Zent. You have not asked me anything directly before. I have repeatedly stated many reasons why I think astrology is flawed, and presented logical arguments to back up my statements. I must have posted over 50 such posts in the last couple of weeks (which you know full well, because most of them you have squealed like a 12-year-old about). It is you who are weak. You could not put together an adult, logical case if your life depended on it.
Gabble, do your own research. I for one don't have the time to argue with a phantom who snipes at me from a obscure identity. Why don't you do your own videos and allow others to constantly attack you for awhile. I DON"T CARE ONE IOTA WHAT YOUR POSITION IS. That stance is taken from an ignorant view and cannot be reasoned with ass such. So you don't think astrology is anything but bunk>? Then go somewhere else.
Come on mr fixed, I see that I hit a nerve with funky, and that is exactly how I predicted his character to do. You're of the same ilk....in more ways than one. You actually don't have much of an argument here. What bearing does an ascendant opposition mars have on a natal subject's mars or ascendant is conjunct the moon? Don't say it's rubbish either. If you refute it, you must have studied all dimensions....
"You actually don't have much of an argument here."
Well then, you'll need to re-read my posts. I can well understand that you in particular might need quite a lot more time to understand them (although they don't contain anything difficult).
Here's my question for you, Zent: "What, and how much, *objective recorded evidence* exists (that you have seen) that shows that astrology makes accurate predictions/statements about future/present events based on its system of interpreting symbols, planetary configurations, charts and the like? If such evidence exists, what conclusions do you draw from it about the accuracy of astrology?"
Gabble, we are not trying to convert you ar any other ghost that is too lazy to read a few books and do their own research. Stop proselytizing your ignorance, we are not walking away from our discipline as it brings a deep satisfaction and fulfilling ecxperioence to us every day of our lives.
Gabble. Astrology is an inductive and deductive reasoning process. There are NO values for quantitative analysis except for the plotting of the latitudes and longitudes of the planetary and sign positions. How many times must this be repeated? repeated? repeated? repeated? repeated?
Ok, you want a question for you not to avoid? How does a venus opposition to mars in a synastry chart work when empowered by a conjunct moon by 2 subjects?
Abella, couldn't agree more or have said it any better :-) People are the final concept, we who have the capacity to extend our helping hand will always be ridiculed by those who fail to understand brotherhood isa about.;
Or at the very least service professionals are "under-appreciated". I am both rational/logical AND emotional/irrational; however, I'm not uncomfortable with either of them though rationality does serve me well when in argument. *grin* A lot of scientific skeptics seem uncomfortable with emotion.
You hit the nail on the head! Emotional responses from skeptics tend to become degrading thereby giving rise to thought that they are just venting infantile and suppressed emotions that couldn't be otherwise expressed. AT least that's why I answer, it's actually comical in its own sordid way. The fact that my metaphors are bypassed and determined as "twisting the question" explains the situation as such to me.
Hi chad, it's ironic, Abella is the person I was talking to you about, the one having that gift I mentioned (: I think we can all have some fun here ((((:

GunnaMakeaMove 3 years ago
Hi Gonnamakeamove,
Pluto does NOT rule Scorpio.
Uranus does NOT rule Aquarius.
Neptune does NOT rule Pisces.
This is part of the absurdity that has and is creating a nonsensical astrological paradigm.
The outer, trans-saturnian planets act more like fixed stars and are only active when conjoined by another traditional planet.
Therefore:
Pluto intensifies, Uranus divorces; and Neptune confuses.
Thanks for the post

y2ktymes 4 years ago
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
My description of Zent has nothing to do with your judgment of him. I find you to be rude, but that is just you. This is an observational study of concluding to what the Skeptical mind really does have limitations This is all what your all about here

Skeptical's Moon's South Node in Virgo, Very intresting, keep up the good work.

Loving your videos. Very practical down-to-earth way of looking at astrology. I have passed on your videos for one of my Learners to watch as it's really nice to have different perspectives about the same subject. Thanks!! :)
abellaarthur 4 years ago
Hi abellaarthur, Thanks, appreciate your input. . . more to come. . .soon we'll discuss the receptions, the heart and soul of traditional astrology.
chadow723 4 years ago
I look forward to your videos and learning more. I know NOTHING about receptions. :) All of my astrology education is through books so it's really neat to "listen and see" from an accomplished astrologer. Keep up the great work. Cheers!! p.s. When I read your responses to the diskeptics it's exactly as I would say it. *interesting*
abellaarthur 4 years ago
Hi abella, kindred spirits? Thanks for your support.
chadow723 4 years ago
Oh and to be more clear: My astrology education includes working with "real people" and gaining more and more knowledge and I work with astrology -- lots of fun, knowledge that is! :)
abellaarthur 4 years ago
Yes, abella, People are the key, not numbers, not distasteful sentences oozing from a lack o any knowledge. As far as I can see, many who write with an attitude here can only come up with the same "quoted question" repeatedly. .. I leave most of them up because I believe itgives a budding astrologer a tatse of what to expect fron the narrow saide of life.
chadow723 4 years ago
I asked a question to you and it didn't get answered. So what! :) I just have to go and figure it out myself or question it with someone else if it comes up again. *shrugs* No big deal. Also none of us are perfect and our theories may have flaws but diskeptics do not make it safe to *explore* those flaws because they paint the canvas with one brush. One flaw, everything flawed. That argument is flawed!! :)
abellaarthur 4 years ago
Good point. ask again as I probably lost it in the mix of the many videos and thought perhaps I had done so. My apologies. Yes, the "Flaw in the ointment" seems to despoil the entire structure with many who write. But, that's because of "numerated reduction."
One wrong digit or decimal presents a false answer.
chadow723 4 years ago
Yes chad, remember, one test done by randi equals a false answer :P And multiply that by a dismissing article and you have a negative (:
zentrifigul 4 years ago
Hi zent, the big problem is the word "paranormal" as astrology doesn't fall into this category, so one cannot possibly make any statement or contest his "challenge"
chadow723 4 years ago
Well one of my values is being "people-focused" so I won't argue that. haha I LOVE numbers too but in an organic non-statistical way. And right, the same question. Maybe you don't want to answer that question for that and other reasons, as I said before: Why does that make you a fraud? It doesn't.
abellaarthur 4 years ago
My being "a fraud" may stem from the idea that metaphor cannot register with the dissident writers as a response. I truly believe that The American public is terrified that there may be a system that profiles them. This may the the basics for such sub-conscious, reactive responses. Most responses are guttural and salted with curses. . . as such they suggest fear. Although, when we think of it, astrology IS far out. . . look at a Horary chart. . . that in and of itself is truly amazing!!
chadow723 4 years ago
Hi chad, good point here. Yes, I've thought of this too. Did ya happen to see the "astrology and prejudice" vid here? :P Looks like someone was insecure about it....I look at it like a learning experience. (:
zentrifigul 4 years ago
No zent, I usually have very little time to answer these posts. . . let alone surf. I appreciate you keeping me informed though,
Thanks
chadow723 4 years ago
Welcome, abella (: good to see you. I agree with alot of what you've written here. It seems we have similar outlooks, and gift (: It is always about the experience. You study people to learn, sometimes it's just as simple as that. Books allow the view to spread outward and glean other insight from those with more experience in different ways.
zentrifigul 4 years ago
One week has now passed since I asked Zent the question. He has not yet answered it. For all his previous shouting and squealing about what he calls the "question-dodging" of skeptics (of which there is, of course, actually none), his own current deathly silence, when asked a simple question about astrology, speaks volumes.
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Have you ever thought: Maybe they couldn't care less to answer your question? OR Why are they obliged to? The id like nonsense of diskeptics is disturbing. The more I read diskeptic comments, the more I realize that you all think we should feed you because you can't feed yourself. That isn't your job as much as you would like to COMMAND and DEMAND otherwise.
abellaarthur 4 years ago
Hi Abella, Yes, this is a great post, filled with insight. Mostly, I believe it's all about the "what can you do for me" attitude. No real understanding, but like parrots just snipe at those who have more strength than they themselves, the skeptics have.
chadow723 4 years ago
It bothers me that they truly don't know anything about that which they dispute. But it disturbs me when they start insulting and defaming our profession and character while being ignorant about what it is that we do. Part of me is okay with the ignorance and part of me isn't. :)
abellaarthur 4 years ago
The ignorance comes from hearing someone with whom the insultor has held in high esteem at some earlier time. As with most people who write on these sites, many are hiding with their pseudonym and find a place to just become insulting . .. "Lord Of The Flies" comes to mind when I read some of these. . .
chadow723 4 years ago
Gabble, you've actually been talking to yourself here, in more than one way. Never got your responses in my mail and I think it's funny that you've been trying to reconfirm your ego here all by your lonesome. What makes you think you deserve me doing your research for you after you've been insulting and a liar to go with it?
zentrifigul 4 years ago
:) QED
Keep the evasiveness up, Zent - you are so good at it, and it's great to watch!
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Interesting, isn't it? Zent accuses me of dodging questions. So I answer his two questions directly, and then ask him a question. We are still waiting for his answer four days later...
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
To repeat my question for you, Zent: "What, and how much, *objective recorded evidence* exists (that you have seen) that shows that astrology makes accurate predictions/statements about future/present events based on its system of interpreting symbols, planetary configurations, charts and the like? If such evidence exists, what conclusions do you draw from it about the accuracy of astrology?"
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Still no answer to my question from Zentrifrugal.
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
All very interesting, Chad. However, let's wait to see Zent's answer (if he can provide one) to the question I've asked him.
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Hi chad, appreciate the symbolic insight (: About the only thing about your associations I questioned was the aries/nightime sign and scorpio/daytime. I have a hard time seeing that, as the aries is always a morning hustle and bustle, bright, full of energy, against the scorpio which is dark, deep, reserved and secretive, like the night...(:
zentrifigul 4 years ago
Zent - you say in another of Chad's videos that I "keep avoiding the questions". What questions?!!! Go on - take a look: you won't find any except for one or two that I have already answered. Ask me whatever you like on this subject and I will reply. Go ahead - DO IT NOW. I will not duck and swerve like you! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO ASK ME BEFORE CHAD DISABLES ALL COMMENTS ON ALL HIS VIDEOS!!! :)
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
The fact is, you have no sensible questions to ask. Not only that, but you CANNOT (are unable to) answer properly the questions I have put to you and Chad on the subject repeatedly in Chad's videos. You cannot deny this fact, so stop trying to. One of the questions I have asked you repeatedly is to provide a proper reasoned argument as to why you think astrology is valid and the objective recorded evidence you have for that. You repeatedly duck this question, which is hardly surprising!
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
I'm not denying anything. In fact, I find it ironic that you keep dodging posts wherein I asked you solid existential questions, along with those of experience and you go to a different vid, claiming I dodge you. You have repeatedly claimed astrology is so wrong, but you have not told me once why the methods are flawed according to the queries I have presented. You are the weak one here. Give it up.
zentrifigul 4 years ago
Bollocks, Zent. You have not asked me anything directly before. I have repeatedly stated many reasons why I think astrology is flawed, and presented logical arguments to back up my statements. I must have posted over 50 such posts in the last couple of weeks (which you know full well, because most of them you have squealed like a 12-year-old about). It is you who are weak. You could not put together an adult, logical case if your life depended on it.
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Gabble, do your own research. I for one don't have the time to argue with a phantom who snipes at me from a obscure identity. Why don't you do your own videos and allow others to constantly attack you for awhile. I DON"T CARE ONE IOTA WHAT YOUR POSITION IS. That stance is taken from an ignorant view and cannot be reasoned with ass such. So you don't think astrology is anything but bunk>? Then go somewhere else.
chadow723 4 years ago
Come on mr fixed, I see that I hit a nerve with funky, and that is exactly how I predicted his character to do. You're of the same ilk....in more ways than one. You actually don't have much of an argument here. What bearing does an ascendant opposition mars have on a natal subject's mars or ascendant is conjunct the moon? Don't say it's rubbish either. If you refute it, you must have studied all dimensions....
zentrifigul 4 years ago
"You actually don't have much of an argument here."
Well then, you'll need to re-read my posts. I can well understand that you in particular might need quite a lot more time to understand them (although they don't contain anything difficult).
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Zent, your question is: "What bearing does an ascendant opposition mars have on a natal subject's mars or ascendant is conjunct the moon?"
My answer is: "I don't know".
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Here's my question for you, Zent: "What, and how much, *objective recorded evidence* exists (that you have seen) that shows that astrology makes accurate predictions/statements about future/present events based on its system of interpreting symbols, planetary configurations, charts and the like? If such evidence exists, what conclusions do you draw from it about the accuracy of astrology?"
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
<cont>... Zent - Please be as clear and unambiguous in your answer as I have been in my answer. You can say "I don't know" too, if you like.
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
Gabble, we are not trying to convert you ar any other ghost that is too lazy to read a few books and do their own research. Stop proselytizing your ignorance, we are not walking away from our discipline as it brings a deep satisfaction and fulfilling ecxperioence to us every day of our lives.
chadow723 4 years ago
Gabble. Astrology is an inductive and deductive reasoning process. There are NO values for quantitative analysis except for the plotting of the latitudes and longitudes of the planetary and sign positions. How many times must this be repeated? repeated? repeated? repeated? repeated?
chadow723 4 years ago
Ok, you want a question for you not to avoid? How does a venus opposition to mars in a synastry chart work when empowered by a conjunct moon by 2 subjects?
zentrifigul 4 years ago
Zent, your second question is: "How does a venus opposition to mars in a synastry chart work when empowered by a conjunct moon by 2 subjects?"
My answer is: "I don't know".
Gabbleblotchit 4 years ago
I'm thinking the same thing. Thoughts Chad? :)
abellaarthur 4 years ago
Abella, couldn't agree more or have said it any better :-) People are the final concept, we who have the capacity to extend our helping hand will always be ridiculed by those who fail to understand brotherhood isa about.;
chadow723 4 years ago
Or at the very least service professionals are "under-appreciated". I am both rational/logical AND emotional/irrational; however, I'm not uncomfortable with either of them though rationality does serve me well when in argument. *grin* A lot of scientific skeptics seem uncomfortable with emotion.
abellaarthur 4 years ago
You hit the nail on the head! Emotional responses from skeptics tend to become degrading thereby giving rise to thought that they are just venting infantile and suppressed emotions that couldn't be otherwise expressed. AT least that's why I answer, it's actually comical in its own sordid way. The fact that my metaphors are bypassed and determined as "twisting the question" explains the situation as such to me.
chadow723 4 years ago
Hi chad, it's ironic, Abella is the person I was talking to you about, the one having that gift I mentioned (: I think we can all have some fun here ((((:
