i personally believe that the cultures were shown in this video belong to the people of those countries, and they are Arabs right now so basically it's their culture

if u're going to take away some people's culture just because their language have changed but they're still the same race same people same blood then u'd have to say that all the cultures that Europe has don't belong to Europeans because most of them had spoken some other languages before like Italians they were Romans etc...

This video would have made more sense if you tried to show how the various ancient civilizations from the Egyptians, Sumerians, to the Assyrians and Hellenic Arabs culminated to what is now identified as the Arab world.

I dont even have to finish this to say that I love arabic culture, but being a historian myself, I must tell you that the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans were certainly not Arabic. Claiming that their buildings were either arabic or arabic influenced at the time of their construction is a diservice to those peoples and their achievements. You simply lumped together areas of the world that contain these things which arabs now inhabit.

i do agree with you, i am Arab and i am proud of my culture and heritage, many of the photos like the ancient Egyptians or Romans dont belong to Arab, not built by Arabs.

The region in which the original Arab Culture is preserved is the Arabian Gulf. In ancient times, the Bedouin, the Original Arabs, lived there, and the Bedouin Culture is still alive today there. Of course, its not perfect, and Western influence is still there, but much less than Egypt and Lebanon.

Even the "Arab Lands" like Syria, Jordan, and Egypt, both in history and today, were not Arab. Egypt was not Arab until AFTER Islam, and look at them today, almost completely Westernized. And in Syria and Jordan, Hellenic peoples like Greeks were there and mad their buildings there, but they were not Arab, and all of the Roman and Greek sites in Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon are not part of ARAB culture or heritage.

U gotta remember that there Hellenized, ROmanized and Persan(ized) cultures in the Levant before Islam, for Example the Palmyrian and Nabatean cultures... Thery were Arabs influeneced by thoses cultures..It is aso unproper to talk about a pure Arabian race or culture.. Most Arabs, even Quraish are Arabized 3ajams... Ismail wasnt an Arab though he is considered the father of Arabs,,,,

Some things in this video are Arab, but some are not. You know, not everything on "Arab Land" is Arab, meaning coming from Arab Culture and People. The Turks had control of much Arab Land, but they are a completely different race and culture than us. They had control, but they were not Arab. And their buildings still remain today.
