This episode will never leave my memory, as it was my tribute to my 15 year old cat, who died the same night it aired, and to my mother, who died of cancer a few months later. I remember watching this when I was younger, in early high school, and this was the most moving episode I'd seen. I bawled my eyes out on this part, and I remember hiding those tears from my family for fear of my sisters laughing at me.

Years later, watching this again, I'm crying like it's the first time I've seen it, but this time I'm not ashamed. This is so beautiful.

@LadyJafar I feel you on this. One of the hardest parts to watch is when the notebook hits the floor and Monica looks at Wynonna and sort of nod signaling that the little boy has passed. And Wynonna obviously overcome with emotion continues to sing the song. As hard as it is to watch it's one of the best Touched by an Angel episodes. And the words of that song really drives the message home. I learned of this song watching this episode and I knew I had to download it. It's just beautiful.

@MrPeachlover Yes, she was! Several episodes apart from this one, if not to say about one whole season, she appeared in Touched By An Angel again. There we learn that she wasn't able to bear the loss of her son Petey. She had started to drink (ouch, grammar!) and had to be saved again. Monica takes care of her again and succeeds to reunite her with her mother. Again quite touching episode. Loved the series, hope it will get published in Germany some day.

@GratefulChristian I agree. This has got to be one of, if not the best episode in the Touched By An Angel series. The death of a loved one is hard to accept regardless of how it happens, but when you see it slowly claiming a life at least you have time to say your goodbyes and prepare yourself for it. Like the little boy in this episode, we should all have a life's list of things we want to accomplish before we die. And this beautiful song really sums it all up. I love it. Testify to loooooove!!
