haha no its not true... but to me the lyrics are sort of metaphorical. It makes me think of regretting something and then moving on. I always think of the town being empty because everyone else went into the house.. and then finally the narrator (me singing) works up the courage to go inside and that's when it stops raining and everything gets better.

Think you're right about what you write on your channel, there was more possibilities for example in the 70's, to make music with a broader spectrum and to get into the charts with it. I think of artists like Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel etc. Personally I like both catchy pop music with clear refrains, and music like yours, it depends a little on the mood :) And there are some people who can combine it nowadays I think, Mika for example. Maybe a challenge for you :) Enjoyed the song, subbed!

Thank you! It is a live performance, but I actually used some home studio equipment to record it with. Although, I think the sound quality would be a little better if I recorded the piano and vocals separately. Have you downloaded the MP3? It is on my channel. It is the same recording, but the sound quality is a little better because I think it gets compressed when I put it in the video.
