Levi is my favorit finnish ski resort. Absolutely the best time to visit is actually in march and april (sun is shining, "warm", still great skiing conditions). Thats the time when Finns mostly visit there. Mid-winter of course has its own winter exotic feeling aswell.
I gues if you live in one place for donkey years, it will get a bit borring after a while, but for us (Tourists) Levi was like a real dream place and no doubt we coming back there next winter and not just for one week but for 2 or maybe evn whole month! =)
It really is a beautiful place isnt it? if you get the chance, go to 'yallas' thats something like an hours drive from the airport, its not very towny it more a village, and many log cabins in the woods spaced apart, its amazing!

We are going back to Levi next January - February. I just loved every single moment of that week that we spend there.
