@superstud666 Well the thousands of people being there is a precedent. This is a massive sporting/media event in Vancouver so one has to expect large crowds to be in the area even after the game. During every other game there were at least 100 000 people downtown, and many lingered around after the games had finished. So in essence you'd have to increase the police force from the start to account for such large numbers...something that they failed to do...or didn't do on purpose.

@superstud666 Well the thousands of people being there is a precedent. This is a massive sporting/media event in Vancouver so one has to expect large crowds to be in the area even after the game. During every other game there were at least 100 000 people downtown, and many lingered around after the games had finished. So in essence you'd have to increase the police force from the start to account for such large numbers...something that they failed to do...or didn't do on purpose.
