I don't know if you were in the army or not, cause of the flag on the right, but if you were its amazing how you can not be in the habit of making your bed haha just sayin
I finely got to see one of these on Saturday. With the mags. Scop and bling the guy had spent over £3000 on his M4. I was using a CM rk47 at a cost of £130 plus two lonex mags cost £45 and no upgrads. I could both out range and shoot tighter groupings than him. So I am a bit lost on what over £2800 went on because it was not performance or range. It was also very back heavy compared to a AR15. Per haps M4 are back heavy? I would not know as I have never used one. A lot of bucks for the bang.
@tina6581 Maybe it's just luck of the draw? I have no more than 1000 dollars in mine right now and I can put 6 inch groupings at 150 feet plus. I don't think mine's back heavy, but I have a real steel RIS on the front with a PEQ 15, M3 light, and a foregrip so that might be balancing it out.
@ltkerb Well, 6 inch at 150 out dose my CM mate. I can only get about 10 inch 150. But that was a lot better than the guy with the Systema. So I have to now question if the guy could shoot straight. Also you are saying you have only spent $1000 on yours and he clamed to had spent over £3000 on his. I am now wondering if he was exaggerating and a bit of a bull shiter. As I have only see one of these guns I will try to stay open minded about them. Hope you are having lots of fun and games. :-)
@tina6581 Well I got one of the Challenge kits back in the day, they were about half the cost of an assembled PTW. So he might have actually spent that much. He probably just added so much to his gun that it stopped performing the way it should, or like you said he wasn't as good a shot.
@usarmyranger5 Took a loan from my parents, and then didn't spend a cent of my paychecks for a month. It's about the same price as buying two or three mid level AEGs so it's not as bad as people think.
@christower50 Inside the cylinder is a spring, spring guide, piston, air nozzle, etc. It's like sawing a version two gearbox in half right above the gears, the top half is what the cylinder is.
@airsoftsniperlegend I cut diagonally across the metal adapter until I was close to the threads and then I used a flat head screwdriver and a pair of pliers to yank it apart. I would suggest another method, though I have no idea how others did it.
@airsoftsniperlegend I would send it to ASGI and see if they can do anything about it. Call them first and ask if they can fix it, but I bet they'll know what to do.
@airsoftsniperlegend They don't send you anything. You just order it and then mail the weapon to them. Inside the box put your order number and a description of what you think is wrong. You should call them before you send it and make sure you have everything in there.
@ItsCarbonFiber Mine was an 2009 model, I just sent it to Airsoft GI and they fixed it for like $45. If you want it fixed for cheap and fixed right then e-mail the techs there and have them do it. Mine just had bad brushes and wouldn't cycle at all.
@shadowsniper978 Funny thing is, I did. I somehow jacked up the selector switch, but I fixed it before I did the shooting test. You have a good eye/ear for finding screw ups! haha
ive been researching this gun and i looked at alot of forums and reviews and supposly every systema part and mag should be compatible with celcius. its like celcius is an eact clone but why is it cheaper? also can you install a ris system to it?
let me tell you my story. right now im only 14 but ive been in airsoft ever since i was 9. (5 years) i havent really progressed fast in my experience in airsoft so i dont know how to open up the gun and take it apart, if i try that i will probably break it. right now i have a KWA KM4 SR10 but i wanted to get a CQB-R version of a m4 and not a m16 sized m4 like mine. i really want to get into airsoft or get more experience until i get a systema so have any gun suggestions? i want a M4 CQB-R.
@airsoftpro808 Well, if you aske me, there is no airsoft gun better than a Systema, but I don't know if I would suggest getting it so early. The CQB-R is what I always wanted, and there are a ton of them out there. If you have the money and you want to get serious about airsoft then the Systema(or Celcius) could be the right move. Rail Systems will fit, and are easy to put on.
do you reccomend me getting a celcius instead of a systema? they made a updated version because in my last coment i said they had some minor problems like with the hop up but they supposly fixed that. the only problem is they dont make a RIS version of the gun and only the handguard versions. would it be possible that i could install a ris system?
@airsoftpro808 If it has a real style delta ring, which it should, then yeah you can add a rail. It's you're call on the gun, I have never used or seen a Celcius so I can't really make a good suggestion.
@ltkerb can you take a look at it really fast? i can message you the link because they wont let you type links in comments so could you take a look and maybe read the specs on it?
@airsoftpro808 Well everything looks identical to the PTW. The only problem I see is that if it is identical to the PTW, then why is it half the price? Maybe it's nothing, but maybe there is less quality in build/materials? That would be my only concern. I would get on some forums and try to find somebody who owns one and ask them about it.
thinking about getting this gun but then i found celcius. its a systema clone. they looked at the internals and everything and its the same thing. there guns are only $600 but that seems to cheap for me. like theres something suspicious about it being so cheap. i heard there were some accuracy problems and other minor problems but besides that the gun looks and sounds almost exactly like a systema. same reloading operations and same chirping sound. everything is similiar so think about that....
@morati1963 The accuracy is all about the ammo you use and how well you tune your hopup. I've hit people with shot one at over 200 feet, but I also have a tightbore barrel and I spend a long time getting my hopup ready.
I don't know if you were in the army or not, cause of the flag on the right, but if you were its amazing how you can not be in the habit of making your bed haha just sayin

was it worth the money?

@ErtoeReborn For me it was. However, if you're not very hardcore about milsim it would be a massive waste of money.

How much did it cost??
usarmyranger5 9 months ago
@usarmyranger5 The kits were like $800 I think, and to buy a fully assembled one is like $1300+.

@ltkerb thats REALLY expensive!!!! how did u get that kind of money?????

@airsoftsniperlegend I used a pair of pliers and a hacksaw, I'm hoping there's a better way than that though.

@airsoftsniperlegend According to the tech at ASGI my motor brushes were worn.
ltkerb 1 year ago
It funny that it cost more than the actual gun.
JERstudios 1 year ago
@JERstudios It costs a little more than cheaper AR-15's (Civilian M4), but an M4A1 costs much more than a Systema PTW.
