this doesn't work, if your school internet isn't ran by complete retards then they will have interfaced a word blocker which means that if Meebo is typed into the internet it will block it, even as a google search, also they can block programs by working with some sophiticated software which stops programs running if they have a specific name, similar to virus protection, the only way to get around that would be to re-write the coding, which can be very difficult, I suggest getting the proxy

What a newbie my school spent loads of money on catch servers and block everything. msn, hotmail, bebo, youtube. any proxy is picked up and we have are deputy head on are case. The point I don't get. But a way at my school is too go internet options and then change the port number to 8080, and then nothing is blocked. internet options has now been blocked but there are ways of getting round it.

Here's the best and secured way to go to myspace at school or work.

Only works on Windows! IE Only!

First, what you need to do is go to Start, and click on Run! Type in Regedit!

Next, go to directory Computer/HIKEY_CURRENT_USER\Mi­crosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Internet Settings\

Then, find the file called ProxyServer.

Double-Click on ProxyServer.

Enter the desired proxy and port number.

(format example: 111.222.333.444:80)
