Very nice looking footage, I just got a DSLR and am starting to get everything down except for picking out the darn lenses. I really like the look of this so I want to ask which lens you used at 0:18 - 0:24 and which one for the bird. Thanks!
@Raabamillo Thanks! those two shots were both with the Canon 18-55mm lens. It's a very basic lens and can be found online for almost nothing. Hope that helps :)
@bluefishswims Oh wow, that's actually the lens kit that came with my camera, I didn't think you could get that nice of shots with it so seeing this is pretty encouraging! One last question, do you have any good suggestions for an affordable Zoom lens?
@Raabamillo Yeah it's a pretty good stock lens. A good zoom lens is the Sigma 70-300mm. It has macro on it also, which is a great feature. It's not too expensive either. The only down side to it is that it doesn't have Image Stabilization, which I would recommend you look for in a longer lens. But overall, if you have a descent tripod, then it shouldn't be a problem.
